Median number

[edit]

@MarioGom: I'm a bit uncertan what/where the "Median female to male ratio: 24.06%" is/comes from. I though the en.wiki ratio was ~19.2%. Apologies if we've been here before & I've forgotten. --Tagishsimon (talk) 00:12, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Tagishsimon: It's the median of all per-country ratios. It's meant to be a reference for how females are represented for one country in relation to other countries. Since the distribution of biographies per country is very imbalance, this can be very different when compared to the overall enwiki ratio. I'll look into adding the overall enwiki ratio in the next run. MarioGom (talk) 07:48, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
t/y; understood. --Tagishsimon (talk) 12:25, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

French Wikipedia

[edit]
Hi how can we have the same table for the Francophone wikipedia ? Is it automatically generated ? Nattes à chat (talk) 16:53, 3 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Nattes à chat: Here's a first version: fr:Utilisateur:MarioGom/Gender imbalance per country. Feel free to move it out of my sandbox to your desired location. Also, you can translate text (but not country names, I'll do that!) to French, and I will update my scripts with the French translations. MarioGom (talk) 08:31, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

MarioGom wow thank you ! We do agree though that this is related to French wikipedia as it still mentioned "English" wikipedia before my translation ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nattes à chat (talkcontribs) 12:30, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Nattes à chat: Yes, the text was copied from the English version, but all data is from French Wikipedia. MarioGom (talk) 07:49, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
