Computer Gaming World reviews

[edit]

After spending two years on Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Reference library/Next Generation Magazine reworking the page, adding reviews to each game, and starting new articles on games, I decided to make this my next big project. :) I will be keeping track here of which articles I start, or restore from deletion or redirects. Oh geez, I ran out of patience just listing the partial magazine contents, let alone writing articles. Good luck! —  HELLKNOWZ   ▎TALK 20:06, 17 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Well, if you saw what I did with the articles on the NG page, you know I'm good for it.  ;) Since that took me two years, I bet this one will take me even longer! LOL Who needs sanity or sleep? ;) BOZ (talk) 21:51, 18 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Are you sure all of them are notable though? One is PRODded already. I had half the thought to make a bunch of stubs myself at some point, but there wasn't an easy way correlate which games have preferably 3+ magazine entries to be sure about GNG or notability challenges. Instead, I ended up only listing magazine contents so I could find repeat entries later. But the actual work to do that quickly became overwhelming as well. —  HELLKNOWZ   ▎TALK 20:20, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The Battle of Shiloh (video game) looks pretty safe from deletion now. :) I've been adding whatever good sources I can find here and there. If any others are challenged for deletion, they can be dealt with in whatever way is most appropriate. BOZ (talk) 18:24, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
