Delivered to architecture students, this course looks at various kinds of writing found in architecture, from day-to-day documents like project proposals to the critiques found in professional magazines. We’ll be taking a hands-on, workshop-style approach and writing by hand in class. For the final assignment, students will contribute an article about a prominent Canadian architect (or architecture firm) to Wikipedia. Canadian architects are not well represented on Wikipedia, so this course aims to help remedy this gap.
