Hello Wikipedians, I have been working on the wikipedia page for "Peace Revolution". It was rejected because it was stated it was written like an essay. Can I have some advice as to how i can make the page more encyclopedic? Perhaps a few examples of how it can be improved or restructured to fit the encyclopedic guidelines of wikipedia. I have already made some edits since the last submission, you can check it out here: Draft:Peace_Revolution. Would love to have some input or examples of how i can improve the article to be in more of an encyclopedic matter. Thanks Wikiman5676 (talk) 05:11, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

WP:NPOV and WP:Encyclopedic style would be good places to start. JTP (talkcontribs) 14:30, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I think my question goes here, but my article is in article space, so the template required doesn't exactly work and I did a workaround.

WikiOriginal-9, MBisanz, A recent afd for the page Cy Sherman resulted in a decision of merge. The !vote was not clear to another editor and I and we continued to develop the page. The closing admin recommended the page have an independent review, potentially in AfC. The AfD did not result in a delete or userfy outcome, so the page was left where it is in article space. I have no experience with AfC, and am not sure the right way to go about this, or even if AfC should be used in this way. In any case, I think the page is now stable is ready for review. I'm here to ask for advice. In particular, should the page be moved to draft space to be reviewed or can it be reviewed where it is? Thank you, Smmurphy(Talk) 16:47, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Smmurphy: What I think you want to do is to move the page to Draft:Charles "Cy" Sherman and then submit it for review here. And, either before or after the move, merge the information about the Cornhuskers into the proposed target article. But let's get some other opinions before you actually do all that. Thank you for your reply. I think the relevant information about Sherman and his activities has (mostly?) been added to other articles, so that the merge-ing is done. Smmurphy(Talk) 20:28, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Please note that Russian page about Baraka music band already exists. https://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baraka_(музыкальная_группа) We do hope that this fact will help you to accept English version. Thanks a lot. Aryan Memory (talk) 18:40, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The draft has no references. Maybe the entries in the External Links section are meant to be references. If so, move them to References, but it would help to make them into footnotes. I don't know Russian, but I can see that the Russian article does have references. The draft is also not formatted well, and the second paragraph appears to just run on. I suggest adding the references from the Russian article to the English article. (Non-English references are accepted in the English Wikipedia, and it appears that some of the references are in English.) Robert McClenon (talk) 19:40, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
