05:13:50, 26 October 2014 review of submission by Geraldine16

[edit]

Hi, I submitted a new article for review not realizing that you are not allowed to write about a company you work for. I just wondered why my company didn't have a page in English. Is there anyway I can revert/delete my contribution before it is published? Geraldine16 (talk) 05:13, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Instead, why not await the pending review and take notice of what it says. The review process is designed to handle conflicts of interest. Fiddle Faddle 05:59, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@AliDho: You marked both of those for deletion, so no, they are not in the queue to be reviewed. --Ahecht (TALK

[edit]

Hi I am the inventor of the IUB on which the article is about. I have given quite enough references for it. I am not sure i understand why it has not been accepted for publication. This is the first time for me on Wikipedia and i will appreciate very much to get some help in order to publish my article Thanks Ilan Drbaramilan (talk) 12:06, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please look at WP:MOS. I suspect the references were missed because they are in an unreadable lump despite the fact that you feel you have presented them in a well ordered list. PLease read WP:REFB and you will soon get the trick to it. Remember, please, what we need. We require references from significant coverage about the topic of the article, and independent of it, and in WP:RS please. See WP:42 Fiddle Faddle 12:41, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@AstonPearl: I assume your question is about the rejection of Draft:Aston Pearl Real Estate. Your article was rejected because it doesn't meet the notability standards of WP:CORP. To quote: "An organization is generally considered notable if it has been the subject of significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources." Your article had three sources: The first was written by the General Manager of Aston Pearl and isn't independent, the second is a wiki page and is user-generated and therefore not a reliable source, and the third is the company's webpage, which is not independent. To be honest, it is unlikely that a run-of-the-mill real estate firm will meet notability standards for Wikipedia. --Ahecht (TALK

@Abdi ali 21: Consider editing German-language Wikipedia, if that's you're native language. Chris Troutman (talk) 23:05, 26 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
