Only transcluded in one article, Mountbatten-Windsor, in which it is redundant to the section entitled "Male-line descendants of Elizabeth II", which contains links to all of the articles contained in this navigation template. This was created to prevent persistent vandalism of the infobox image. Since that need no longer exists and the template is only transcluded on one page, it serves no purpose. - Mr X 🖋 21:26, 1 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Comment - When this was discussed more than two months ago, I wrote "I would be in favor of a fully protected template for the infobox as a temporary solution. The problem is that admin accounts have been compromised and the template will have far fewer watchers than this article. A solution that addresses the root cause is what we need long term." Other editors echoed that. If there was a consensus, it was weak one, and mainly among admins. - Mr X 🖋 14:18, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

{{The Simpsons}} already has a section for "Characters". Not all of those listed on {{Simpsons characters}} are there so obviously those will need to be moved over, but seems like a straightforward obvious merge then redirect.
