New top-level domain

[edit]

1) When a new top-level domain is released, where is this announced? 2) How can one propose a new top-level domain? Envestigator (talk) 04:02, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  1. I could not find a single place where new TLDs get announced, but you could just add List of Internet top-level domains to your watchlist. A better answer is to save the IANA list and check at intervals for changes.
  2. ICANN have only an old document with details of how to propose a new TLD and a directory of applications pending which is also full of old entries. — GhostInTheMachine talk to me 15:08, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
