Everyone is cordially invited to attend a bonfire and Wiknic potluck, along with bronies from throughout Southern California, on Shelter Island, San Diego. This should be the 32nd Wikipedia meetup to be held in San Diego County.

Wikipedia is one of the leading resources of knowledge for anyone who has access to the internet. Make an impact by helping contribute to the free encyclopedia which anyone can edit. Come join us as we assist members of the public potentially join our editing/contributing community.

Reserved bonfire pit, second bonfire pit south of the boat ramp (right most bonfire pit in the image).

• Location: South of 2210 Shelter Island Drive, San Diego, CA

A casual meetup, held in coordination with the SoCal Bronies. Come to Shelter Island, just southwest of the boat launch, as we have a potluck in the park, then walk to the beach overlooking North Island and have a bonfire, weather permitting of course. Please bring an entree for yourself and enough to share with others, as generosity is an element of friendship. Also please bring wood to burn. Weather will be in the high and low 70s, so please dress accordingly. Today's forecast is for a high of 73ºF, with a low of 68ºF, with haze before 2300/11PM.

Getting there

Getting there using the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System, from the Old Town Transit Center, take Route 28 getting off at Anchorage Lane & Shelter Island Drive, and walk the rest of the way.
