Wikipedians and friends in North Carolina are invited to join the North Carolina Wikipedians for a virtual editathon on Sunday, December 15, 2024. Editors at all levels of experience welcome -- experienced editors will be present to help you with your first edit!
While we encourage you to bring articles you'd like to edit or photos you'd like to submit to Wikipedia, our focus will be on topics and photographs related to the North Carolina counties most affected by Hurricane Helene in September 2024, which as per Effects of Hurricane Helene in North Carolina are:

- Avery County
- Burke County
- Buncombe County
- Catawba County
- Cleveland County
- Gaston County
- Haywood County
- Henderson County
- Macon County
- Madison County

- Mecklenburg County
