Comment — Me too — While it's a dramatic capture, IMO it's not entirely apparent visually that this was an explosion on an aircraft carrier (one that was later repaired & returned to service in WWII). Sca (talk) 01:30, 4 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose: unique and interesting image, but not FP material. Grain etc. aside, it's not at all immediately evident what's going on in the picture (it took me quite a while figuring out up and down) and I have to question how much EV there really is in such a picture.
