Vyacheslav Hryhorovych Kutovyi (born 24 April 1971, Boyarka, Kyiv-Sviatoshyn Raion, Kyiv Oblast) is a Ukrainian politician and former People's Deputy of Ukraine.
Career
[edit]- 1986–1987 — trainee at Kyiv Footwear Production Association "Sport."
- 1988 — assembler at Vyshneve Special Construction Management of Kyiv Construction Trust.
- 1988–1990 — driver at LLC "2 R."
- 1990–1992 — military service in the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
- 1992–1995 — driver at LLC "2 R."
- 1995–1998 — compressor plant operator at Kyivautogaz Regional Production Department.
- Since 1998 — head of LLC "Gazovyk," a nationwide company engaged in wholesale and retail sales of gas equipment, manufacturing and servicing gas station equipment, and providing service to gas stations and service stations.
Political Activity
[edit]From 2010 to 2012, he served as a deputy of the Vyshneve City Council in the Kyiv-Sviatoshyn Raion, Kyiv Oblast.
From 12 December 2012 to 27 November 2014, he was a People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 7th Convocation from the All-Ukrainian Union "Fatherland", elected in single-member constituency No. 95. He received 26.90% of the vote. He was Chairman of the Subcommittee on Gas Industry Issues within the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada on Fuel and Energy Complex, Nuclear Policy, and Nuclear Safety[1].
In June 2013, along with 148 other people's deputies of Ukraine, he signed the Appeal of deputies from the Party of Regions and CPU to the Polish Sejm, asking to "recognize the Volyn Tragedy as genocide against the Polish population and condemn the criminal acts of Ukrainian nationalists." This action was criticized by the first president of Ukraine, Leonid Kravchuk, as national treason.
