Media work

[edit]

Miller, who has been described as a film and TV industry professional, is the founder of the American Happens Network and the host of a podcast on the network called "Blood Money". According to the podcast's webpage, it focuses on "topics of corruption, controversy and conspiracy - topics the Mainstream media will not touch".[1]

Arrest and Trump rally incident

[edit]

On October 12, 2024, Miller was arrested at a checkpoint in the Coachella Valley, near a rally where former president and current presidential candidate Donald Trump spoke. Miller was found with "loaded firearms, multiple passports bearing different names and an unregistered vehicle" which had homemade license plates, a practice commonly associated with the Sovereign Citizen Movement which has no party affiliation.[1] He reportedly told police that he was a journalist and claimed to have VIP status to the rally.[2] He was arrested, charged with two firearms-related offenses, and then released on a $5000 bail. Although the Secret Service released a statement saying that Trump was never in danger,[1] Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco said he thought that Miller's arrest "probably stopped another assassination attempt"[3] on Trump, referring to the previous assassination attempts in Pennsylvania and in Florida.

In a subsequent interview, Miller denied he intended to harm Trump, who he said he supported. Miller additionally claimed that he has never fired a gun, but he began carrying several in his truck after receiving death threats due to his political activism. He also said the reason he carried passports with different names is because of the anti-Armenian sentiment that he would encounter in some parts of the world if he used his full name.[4]
