Temba Bavuma

[edit]

Stop being a total pest and trying to vandalise this page. Wikipedia is not about adding your own personal opinion about who is or isn't a bad player. Smashedbandit (talk) 07:45, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You have to mentally sick to think he isn't a bad player. Even a 5 year would know that. And I'm not vandalising the page but rather stating clear facts which your ego can't digest. Apply some ice cubes on your bum💀 Yadplayz (talk) 08:33, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

And whole of South Africa considers him the same exact things I wrote there. Brains of people like yourself work like robots and there's no practicality. Yadplayz (talk) 08:34, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

He averages 18.7 with the bat with a strike rate below 120 as T20I captain of South Africa. You're either illiterate or living under a rock to think me calling him a bad player is a personal opinion and not a fact when his horrible batting is being discussed all over the internet and social media. Having said that, I don't expect someone like you to even be aware of that given the fact that you sound like someone who hasn't touched grass in 10 years. Yadplayz (talk) 08:40, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Temba Bavuma. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. You also really need to cool it with the personal attacks. Comment on content, not editors. OliveYouBean (talk) 09:15, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I was asked to add sources to the content I added. And even after doing that, the editor who keeps erasing what I wrote disagrees with it and dismisses it. Yadplayz (talk) 09:37, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you think content should be included but somebody else is reverting you, the best place to discuss that is on the article's talk page at Talk:Temba Bavuma. Maybe start a discussion about it there instead of reverting back and forth. OliveYouBean (talk) 09:40, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not attack other editors, as you did at User talk:Yadplayz. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Joseph2302 (talk) 10:19, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

(talk page stalker) Not taking sides here, but didn't Smashedbandit call Yadplayz a "pest"? Dinoz1 (chat?) 13:10, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Damn that hurt them? Alright then. I won't hurt them again. Yadplayz (talk) 10:37, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

He did, seemed to be very hypocritical on other occasions too. Yadplayz (talk) 20:44, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
