Information icon Hi Xani LapZerin! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of an article several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 11:03, 13 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

How do I restore the original or the previous version instead of going on and edit it again? Xani LapZerin (talk) 17:49, 13 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit-warring at Kirkuk. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  JBW (talk) 19:42, 13 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There does seem to be some evidence possibly supporting the suggestion which, as you know, another editor has made, that you may be editing to further a nationalist point of view. If that isn't so then you should be careful to make sure you avoid giving the misleading impression that it is.JBW (talk) 19:42, 13 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

My goodness! Where did I do anything wrong. I just edited according to reliable academic sources, yet here you're putting the blame on me for editing with sources? Xani LapZerin (talk) 19:50, 13 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

See the talk page. Stop saying "reliable academic sources": it does not apply since you're citing a dissertation. Moreover, whether out of ineptitude or motivated by something else, you removed sources from the article without explaining what you were doing. Finally, that Rasoul citation is used 17 different times: that is an extraordinary amount of weight for a dissertation, and it's enough reason for me to block you from editing the article directly.
