Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Wuermler! I am Airplaneman and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

use of templates

[edit]

Hi, I noticed some of your edits to disambiguation pages containing surnames. There is no need to include both {{surname}} and any of the {{disambig}} family of templates. {{Surname}} should ONLY be used on pages consisting solely of surname entries. If the page is disambiguation page that contains both surnames and other types of entries, then use {{disambig|surname}} (and include other category tags as appropriate, such as {{disambig|surname|geo}}).

Also, please only use {{hndis}} on pages that disambiguation complete human names (i.e., people who have the same first and last names). olderwiser 20:27, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Serbian Swiss

[edit]

I saw you created Category:Swiss people of Serbian descent as a soft redirect to Category:Serbian-Swiss people. Are you sure that shouldn't be the other way around? If you have a look at Category:Swiss people by ethnic or national origin, you can see that most are the other way around. Debresser (talk) 13:18, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
