page error Greenwich_Village_map

[edit]

Thanks for telling me. I've fixed it. Required the image to be downloaded, renamed and reloaded, and then all pages pointing to the wrongly named image pointing at the correctly named image. --Tagishsimon (talk)

You are welcome...

I wonder if this is where I should write that or if I should place it on Tagishsimon's user talk? Hmmm, just in case anyone is reading this: I am new to Wiki-ing and probably will never do this enough to reach the level of proficiency that I should. Such is life. --Wiki-790 10:06, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Flogos

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Flogos, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Non-dropframe (talk) 22:21, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hmmm, as noted above I don't do this much. I don't understand why this was deleted... Something about advertising? Since my total knowledge about the company was two news articles on TV and less than 15 minutes of web searching I can assure the Wiki Powers that it was not for profit on my part. But I suppose no one will be harmed if they don't find a wiki article on Flogos. On other things the Wiki Elders just rewrote stuff until it met their fancy criteria. Rather than just axing it. Oh well. I shall endeavour to be less helpful in the future.Wiki-790 (talk) 07:45, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
