Edit summaries

[edit]

Please use edit summaries when you edit Wikipedia pages, to give other editors an idea of what you are changing and why. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:52, 5 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Don't revert, discuss

[edit]

This edit of yours is considered WP:edit warring. If you undo someone else's edits, you need to give a reason in the edit summary, at the very least. Also, please familiarize yourself with the rules for marking edits as "minor". Reverting others is not a minor edit, especially when you're re-reverting.

That being said, your edit simply doesn't work, other than to put the article into Category:Pages with disallowed DISPLAYTITLE modifications. The only way to substantially change an article's title is to Help:Move it. Before you do, please review WP:COMMONNAME, you might find the article already has the correct name.

If you have any questions, please do feel free to ask me, or other experienced editors at the Teahouse. Paradoctor (talk) 14:45, 12 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
