Revert:

[edit]

I have reverted this change twice now as it is not properly sourced. Typically, your response should be to go to the talk page of the article Ikshvaku and discuss the issues. Ogress smash! 18:05, 5 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thodari / Unstoppable

[edit]

I've reverted this edit at Thodari because your claim that the film is inspired by Unstoppable is not supported in the slightest by the source you added. This comes off as highly interpretive at best, and fabricated at worst. The only thing that even resembles a comparison would be the statement "But soon, from a rom com, the film changes track and becomes a Hollywood-style disaster film." But it would be a huge stretch of the imagination to leap from a general comparison to a Hollywood-style disaster film to a very specific film. Thanks. Again, welcome! Vensatry (talk) 18:37, 30 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Vensatry, thanks for the "still" warm cookies and welcome. I have been contributing in my little way for quite a while, but the wiki landscape, conventions and rules are a bit daunting. Sometimes I feel rejection of edits are a little high handed by entrenched contributors!. I guess I will get over the hurdles soon. I have one query. What if I have some information that I know but I can't find an existing reference or has reference in a public domain book, how to contribute those?. Venkatarangan (talk) 08:49, 31 December 2016 (UTC) 08:49, 31 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You may quote the book (chapters/page nos.) as a source. This should give you a fair idea. Either ping me or drop a message on my talk page if you need any assistance. Vensatry (talk) 08:18, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Vensatry, this is helpful. Till now whenever I tried contributing to Wikipedia it was a cold unwelcoming feeling. Knowing someone's there to guide you is great. One more query. I see that when I visit Wiki commons it is asking me to create a new userpage. The userpage in Wikipedia is different from Wiki commons? Venkatarangan (talk) 10:20, 4 January 2017 (UTC) 10:20, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, commons is a sister-project of WP. Vensatry (talk) 12:22, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

List of Iyengars

[edit]

Information icon Hello. Your recent edit to List of Iyengars appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 17:31, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
