Welcome!

Hello, Valencian, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. AfD nomination of Uiquipèdia

[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Uiquipèdia. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Uiquipèdia. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:06, 14 March 2010 (UT

Edit summaries, multiple consecutive edits

[edit]

Hola Valencian, and thanks for your contributions. When you make a change to an article, please provide an edit summary. Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit. It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you.

Another note on editing: It will also be easier for you and your co-editors to collaborate on articles if, instead of making multiple consecutive edits in rapid succession on an article, you use the "Show preview" button to view your changes incrementally before finally saving the page once you're satisfied with your edits. ¡Gracias! Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Palace of the Borgias, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gothic (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Petrer may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

A tag has been placed on File:Xàtiva. Casa d'Alexandre VI. Placa.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Catalan culture Challenge

[edit]

Hello! I've seen that you are one of the main editors of the Pope Callixtus III article and I just want to inform you that the article is featured at the the Catalan Culture Challenge, a Wikipedia editing contest in which victory will go to those who start and improve the greatest number of articles about 50 key figures of Catalan culture. It goes from March 16 to April 15. You can take part by creating or expanding articles on these people in your native language (or any other one you speak). It would be lovely to have you on board. :-) Amical Wikimedia --Kippelboy (talk) 07:07, 15 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Route of the Borgias

[edit]

The article Route of the Borgias has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

non notable marketing campaign whose only coverage was upon the launch in the ABC newspaper and its local affiliate. fails WP:CORP / WP:EVENT

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 01:53, 1 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Route of the Borgias, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:39, 2 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Your claim that it is not a marketing campaign is belied by the reliable source cited: "La intención de la fundación cultural Balearia es «conseguir que acabe siendo un producto turístico» con capacidad de «atracción internacional»." And I never claimed that it was a marketing campaign by the newspapers, I said the only coverage of the marketing campaign was in the one regional newspaper and its affiliate. Since your method of "improvement" was to reconstitute the purely advertorial version, rather than work from a kind of acceptable version and add appropriate sources and content from there, I have nominated it for a speedy deletion. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 13:51, 2 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
1) That other crappy articles may exist is not a valid excuse to make / keep one more. 2) tourist routes that have extensive coverage in third party sources would be acceptable, but there is no evidence of such coverage for this tourist trap. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 18:40, 2 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Valencian. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Shelter of Cervantes, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

National monuments

[edit]

Hello.

In relation to these edits: [1][2][3]

None of these buildings are national monuments.

The National Inventory of Architectural Heritage (NIAH) does not catalogue national monuments. Just because something has been included on the NIAH's buildingsofireland.ie website does not make it a national monument. For example, this postbox is not a national monument.

The vast majority of the 50,000+ entries on that website are not afforded any protection or statutory status. Either under the National Monuments Act (for protection as a national monument under the management of the OPW). Or under the Planning and Development Acts (for listing on the Record of Protected Structures as managed by the local authorities).

The National Monuments Service publishes the catalogue of national monuments. The list for Wicklow is here. As reflected in the 25 entries on the List of National Monuments in County Wicklow article on this project. There are no other/unlisted entries elsewhere.

Please do not describe structures (which are not national monuments) as national monuments.
