Why did the first World Rally Championship occur as part of the 1973 Formula One season? --Falcadore (talk) 07:44, 3 April 2011 (UTC)

It didn't. It was a mistake, sorry V8fan (talk) 23:48, 3 April 2011 (UTC)

Can I please suggest that you review Help:Edit summary? License tagging for File:Lolgato-funny cat pictures 174.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Lolgato-funny cat pictures 174.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 05:05, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Nek Minnit requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. —KuyaBriBriTalk 20:12, 21 November 2011 (UTC)

NASCAR 2012 conversion stuff

Hey V8, I was just wondering when editing should begin on drivers' 2012 rides for NASCAR. Such as having Ron Hornaday being listed as driving the #9 Chevy and Kasey Kahne in the #5. I noticed that KHI had been put on the list of defunct teams, so I was tihnking of updating some of the driver stats.Gaeaman787 (talk) 19:49, 23 November 2011 (UTC)

Well, I suppose we can start editing the driver's stats (on their pages?) now since most of them have already been annnounced at certain teams. Thanks, --V8fan (talk) 19:52, 23 November 2011 (UTC)

Hi. In 2012 NASCAR Nationwide Series, you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Mike Wallace (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

A tag has been placed on Discussion:2011 V8 Utes season, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect to an article talk page, file description page, file talk page, MediaWiki page, MediaWiki talk page, category talk page, portal talk page, template talk page, help talk, user page, user talk or special page from the main/article space.

If you can fix the redirect to point to a mainspace page, please do so and remove the speedy deletion tag. However, please do not remove the speedy deletion tag unless you are fixing the redirect. If you think the redirect should be retained as is for some reason, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. DASHBot (talk) 23:00, 9 January 2012 (UTC)

Merging teams for 2012 season

Not sure how it makes sense to you, but it doesn't to me. The tables for the 2011 season were ridiculously long and clustered with teams that had a bunch of primary sponsors (as is the usual case for Trucks and Nationwide). So I think cutting it up between the full time drivers and the part time drivers makes more sense to users just looking for who's running whenGaeaman787 (talk) 14:05, 30 March 2012 (UTC)

Okay, if you think it'll be better

V8fan (talk) 04:02, 2 April 2012 (UTC)

I mean it just makes sense. Also, the reason that the Nationwide and Trucks have multiple primaries and the Cup page only has their main sponsor or co-primary is because the truck and N'wide teams usually get 1 to 2 race deals, at most like 6 or so. Which makes it hard to say who the primary sponsor is. The Cup page doesn't need the one race associates I think. Gaeaman787 (talk) 16:43, 3 April 2012 (UTC)

#8 truck for JJCR

It did belong to Eddie Sharp, but Jennifer wasn't driving a Chevrolet during the race. She took the 8's owners points to lock herself into the race and put Lafferty in the #10 Chevy...which would mean that she swapped the numbers. So we don't know if she's going to just use the 8 until the 5th race of the season and then swap back to the #10, or if she's keeping the #10 as a part of her team but Eddie's going to own it. Point is is that I'm pretty sure the 8 was owned by Sharp on the entry list, but it was run out of Jen's teamGaeaman787 (talk) 17:14, 2 April 2012 (UTC)

The article Black Cat Racing has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Team that attempted one race in the B-series, failed to qualify, and was never heard from again. Fails WP:N/WP:GNG. Rhea Fain is probably article-worthy but Black Cat is likely not.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
