Hello Jay, my problem is that I edited an article about the International Fire Academy on wikipedia's German sites with the username International Fire Academy, which was no problem. As I started to edit an article about the International Fire Academy on Wikipedia's English sites, my account was blocked because of this username. That's why I stopped working with this account. I still want to finish my English article about the International Fire Academy, because it is the leading firefighter academy in Europe for tunnel firefighting. So I started a new account. My username International Fire Academy is still connected to my German article, which I want to update soon. So, can you please help me solve this problem? Greetings from Germany Tunnel firefighter Tunnel firefighter (talk) 11:48, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Jay, just a question: What do you think about deleting the account Tunnel firefighter and to rename International Fire Academy to Tunnel firefighter? Thanks. Tunnel Firefighter Tunnel firefighter (talk) 13:29, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your comment. I have referred to as many sources as possible that are independent publications. Unfortunately, an institution like the International Fire Academy is not reported on very often because it is an institution with a very specific focus. Nevertheless, I will be happy to see if I can cite more sources. Tunnel firefighter (talk) 15:43, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for your comment. My personal concern is to post an article about the International Fire Academy here, as I am convinced of the work of this institution. Through contact with a firefighter friend of mine, I have a lot of background knowledge about the commitment that has gone into the development of the tunnel firefighting procedures. These procedures can save lives as they teach firefighters tactics and techniques for operations in tunnels. For this reason, I would like to publish this article. Unfortunately, as I am not a native English speaker, it is possible that some of what I have written is close to what has been published so far. However, as these publications are recognised in fire brigade circles, I did not see any problem in this. Tunnel firefighter (talk) 15:53, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Many thanks also for this reference. I have checked the contents of the texts. Linguistically, they may not be as independent as other contributions, as I am unfortunately not a native speaker. However, they are not unreflected copied contents, but a coherent compilation of relevant contents about the International Fire Academy. Can someone help me with the linguistic revision? Or would this be something that the community could help with once the article is published? Tunnel firefighter (talk) 15:57, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
