Smithsonian Institution Archives Edit-a-Thon and Meetup!

[edit]
Who should come? You should. Really.
She Blinded Me with Science: Smithsonian Women in Science Edit-a-Thon will be held on Friday, March 30, 2012 at the Smithsonian Archives in Washington, D.C. This edit-a-thon will focus on improving and writing Wikipedia content about women from the Smithsonian who contributed to the sciences. It will be followed by a happy hour meetup! We look forward to seeing you there!

...and if you do not live in the Washington, D.C. area, please forgive the intrusion and you can delete this invite! Sarah (talk) 04:46, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thoughts on your sandbox article

[edit]

Hi there! Here are a few suggestions on your article:

  • Both you and chickey13 are working on the same article. You will want to look at each other's work and see how you can integrate what you've both done into the same article. Might be good to start collaborating soon so that you present a united front when it comes time to edit the live article.
  • You have a good start, but why not add some more? I'd say start working with chickey13 to decide who will work on which sections and make sure you're not contradicting each other. You might also decide together what is missing and who will begin drafting it.

That's it for now…let me know how the collaboration goes! Sleuthwood (talk) 17:35, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
