Your Truxtun cruiser edits

[edit]

Your edits to USS Truxtun (CGN-35) and Truxtun class cruiser look great, however you should be aware of a couple of items:

  • You also noted [2] that the Phalanx CIWS was installed in 1981. Can you find an external source for this? While I have no doubt that you are correct, official wikipedia policy requires that content have a verified source and personal experience is specifically forbidden. Right now the Phalanx content is attributed to the Haze Gray website (which apparently has the wrong info).

Again, good work on the articles, and thanks for helping to keep them accurate! --Kralizec! (talk) 15:27, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Explaining further?

[edit]

I don't understand your edit to Russo-Japanese War -- not that you're wrong by any stretch of logic; rather, I would have preferred to have done better in the first place. A priori, I don't understand what I should have done in the first place which would have made your subsequent edit unnecessary.

Bottom line: As long as I'm trying to do something, I might as well focus on making the effort to do things correctly from the outset. Can you offer a word which will help me see how I could have done what was needed?--Tenmei (talk) 03:33, 3 October 2

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 69th Infantry Regiment (New York), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fort Apache (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
