Guitar Craft

[edit]

Thanks for your edit. What you wrote about Guitar Craft is no doubt true, but it should be attributed to a reliable source. A claim that GC (or Guitar Circle) enhances self-esteem should be sourced to a reliable source, for verifiability and avoidance of original research.

(Consider the history of The Alexander Technique to see that Wikipedia has had problems with even good-faith contributions that are not referenced by citations to reliable sources.)

I consider the diaries of Robert Fripp, Trey Gunn, etc., to be reliable sources for descriptions of e.g. GC picking techniques. It may be possible to use their blogs as rs for their analysis of such claims, but so far that has not been needed. I try to reference claims or analysis of such techniques to independent secondary sources, even if Mairants etc., is not discussing GC itself but why it is advantageous to hold the pick with the thumb and index finger.
