Help

[edit]

Hi @Sunghokyoung: if you need a hand creating an article, give a shout. Generally, new users create a draft article in a sandbox, then it is put up for review in the WP:AFC review system, where it is reviewed by the independent reviewers at Afc, who decide if it is worth keeping, and if passes review it is copied into main article spaces. Take a look at Wikipedia:Drafts. There is a section in that will allow a draft to be created. It is also worth look at WP:REFB which explains for beginners how to reference an article. For additional help, the teahouse at WP:TEAHOUSE is a good place to go for help. Hope that help. scope_creepTalk 08:57, 22 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Sunghokyoung. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page COEX Convention & Exhibition Center, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Waggie (talk) 02:52, 29 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Keep up the good edits - and remember about references!

[edit]

Keep up the good edits and remember to add references to any new content. The content you added to [1] was removed because it had no references. You can restore it, but make sure you can provide references for your edits. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 09:01, 4 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Recipes

[edit]

Please don't add specific recipes for food. Wikipedia is not a cookbook. Articles are supposed to cover, in general terms, what's typically in dishes, but not provide specific recipes. I'd appreciate if you reverted your own edits so others don't have to. You can find some tips for writing about food here: Wikipedia:WikiProject Food and drink/Tools/guidelines. ArbCom 2019 election voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2019 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:24, 19 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
