Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Harindarpal Banga—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. This was no Experiment I Expanded the Info Harindarpal Banga belongs to the Saini Caste.Banga is a Sub-Caste of the Saini Clan of Shoorsaini and They Profess both in Hinduism and Sikhism. I request you to Revert it to my Edit.
Thank you. SikkaSingh (talk) 12:05, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
What is your reliable source that that is part of his name? —C.Fred (talk) 12:08, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
A Popular personality Ajay Banga with the Same Surname is of the Same Caste.
Below are some other Sources

Banga Born in Punjab Region belong to Saini Caste and None other. SikkaSingh (talk) 12:39, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
None of those are reliable sources. Also, your argument that Harindarpal Banga or Ajay Banga are members of this caste are neither supported by the sources you've provided nor indicative that this is a notable group meriting their own Wikipedia article. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:01, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You can See the Page Ajay Banga
In Wikipedia itself .In the Paragraph about his Early life. It says Right there "Ajay Banga was born on November 10, 1959 into a Saini Sikh family".His Father Harbhajan Singh Banga and His Brother H.S Banga are Notable Saini Banga Personalities. I have added Websites with All the Sub-Castes belonging to Saini Caste. My Sources Support Every Part of what I Said.
Kindly look into it. SikkaSingh (talk) 15:36, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The News18 article at Ajay Banga does support the claim that he was born into a Saini Sikh family. However, I don't see anything to show that Banga is a subcaste rather than a family name. —C.Fred (talk) 00:39, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You have subscribe the page to see the whole article Sir. Also my last name Banga.I know what I am talking about. SikkaSingh (talk) 06:17, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
So you acknowledge you have a conflict of interest with this subject, which may taint your ability to edit impartially? —C.Fred (talk) 12:36, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It Can But it does not Just Like @Admantine123
Has Conflict of intrest of the Kushwaha Caste. Most of his Recent Edits are About Castes.I have no Intrest in making wikipedia Edits. But when I see something wrong I Take Action SikkaSingh (talk) 13:55, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
What is the basis for your allegation that he has a COI with that caste? —C.Fred (talk) 16:38, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Go to his Page look at his Interests And His Edits. Ask him what Qualifications he has to make the Changes. SikkaSingh (talk) 16:46, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also did you read Ajay Banga Page on Wikipedia itself. Under the Title Early life. It says right there "Ajay Banga was born on November 10, 1959 into a Saini Sikh family" SikkaSingh (talk) 06:20, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
SikkaSingh. Have you listened to a popular Haryanvi song "Saini Kalla bhot hai". If not listen it. Tell me your opinion on caste of that singer and which clan of Sainis he is referring to in song. Admantine123 (talk) 06:06, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You say that my Sources are Unreliable. And your source is A Song that 98% percent of Indian population never heard of. Really?
And If He is a Mali Saini. Is he Supposed to sing"Mali Saini Kalla Bhot Hai"? If you want to listen to Good Songs you can Listen to Satinder Sartaj or My Uncle 'Soni Pabla' SikkaSingh (talk) 06:58, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I was talking on a lighter note to make you calm. Songs are not sources. Sources are there on the article. Click on those news articles which are latest and modern. They say that Saini surname is a surname of Kushwaha in Uttar Pradesh. This is written in context of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections. The caste plays an important role in politics and that's what the source has discussed. I know that there is a Saini community in Punjab, whom you are representing here. For them a seperate article exists on Wikipedia. But honestly, even if they are different from Mali, they have no relation with Rajputs. They just claim to be so. Just like Lodhis. Admantine123 (talk) 07:15, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes but you are the one mixing them both. In every page. The pages previously Written about Saini/Shoorsaini of states of Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. You have Redirected the Pages made Seperately for Mali Saini's to the Shoorsaini say page. Don't deny. SikkaSingh (talk) 07:24, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I don't remember when i redirected such page. Probably done by others. Unfortunately, modern sources haven't written about Sainis in detail. This is so with all the castes which were once agriculturists. Modern sources have written about those agriculturist castes only which have excelled in politics. Like the Yadav, Koeri, Jats. You can see pages of these communities are in good state on Wikipedia but Saini article is merely of two paragraphs. One objection, the Malis also exist in Haryana. Few years ago haryana government included them in Other Backward Caste list. Things have become complex as Mali don't call them Mali Saini, they call themselves Saini only. Can you tell from your knowledge, what is the caste of Raj Kumar Saini.? Admantine123 (talk) 07:34, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes they don't Call themself Mali Saini but they Have official Websites To Differ them From Shoorsaini's Calling them Mali Saini Samaj . The Modern Sources?
And you Changed the Previously redirected Page of Saini Surname.Didnt you? You may have Less to do with The Mali Saini Page. But you also didn't Make it Specific. You Mixed up Both castes in one. SikkaSingh (talk) 10:58, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It is consistent with other surnames to have a page listing all notable people who have a given surname. We do not generally subdivide and create pages like Saini (surname used within the Mali Saini caste) and Saini (surname used by non–Mali Saini people) (and the implicit Saini (surname, caste of person unknown)), as you seem to be suggesting we should do. —C.Fred (talk) 11:16, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
C.Fred, this user has some WP:POV issue with this caste. Also, their claim are not supported by Reliable Sources. Sainis has no relation with Rajputs and whichever reliable source I have read until now, I found them to be an agricultural caste. They are placed in Other Backward Class in most of the Indian state including Haryana. It means they were educationally disadvantaged community in India. Admantine123 (talk) 08:05, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Says the man who Vandalized every existing Page Regarding Sainis on wikipedia. Why are you so Obsessed with Mixing up Mali Saini and Saini of Shoorsaini Lineage? I kindly request you to Change your Vandalized Edits back to the Way they were. I can see how obsessed you are Proving Mali Saini and Saini the Same. SikkaSingh (talk) 08:14, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Whatever I added is supported by modern sources. Post 1947 sources. Whatever you are saying, comes from caste website, which are not reliable and also the pre 1947 sources are equally unreliable on which your assumptions are based. Modern sources equate sainis with other agricultural castes and no modern source say that they are a part of Rajput clan. Also every second community claims itself to be Rajput nowadays. That doesn't mean tht claims are reality. Sikh Saini were also agriculturists and there is no source which say that they were converted from Rajputs. Admantine123 (talk) 08:24, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Who said Saini Converted from Rajputs. And the Website you say is Unreliable is operated under Paramveer Singh Dhoorh (Sunny Dhoorh) the Current Leader of the Saini Community. Search him on Google if want.Sainis have lived in Punjab for a long time. The First major King of Panjab Kansa was A Saini.Porus was a Saini. SikkaSingh (talk) 16:50, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
And the Website you say is Unreliable is operated under Paramveer Singh Dhoorh (Sunny Dhoorh) the Current Leader of the Saini Community. That makes it, at best, a self-published source, which is of limited value. —C.Fred (talk) 17:02, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's not like there are going to be Caste related article in The Times. In the Modern era. I provided ancient text for Proof, the Britsh Raj Documents are Apparently Unreliable,i provided Official Community Websites of Both Unreliable as you say. What else can I Provide.Which exists in MODERN Era as you Say? No worries I knew you were going to do Nothing. SikkaSingh (talk) 17:09, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
C.Fred, look into the Page Saini, Saini Surname, have been Vandalized. Ask Admantine123 for credible sources, he does it and gets away with it? Also he redirected the Mali Saini page to Saini page.
Also he added that Mali Saini's and Saini's started doing intercaste Marriages.Even if that is true than how does that make Mali Saini and Saini's Make the Same. There are Clear Proofs that state Saini's came to Punjab Region to stop the Forced Conversion of Hindus of Punjab by Mughals this is before Sikhism Started. Also there are British Raj Documents stating Saini's under Martial Caste Rajput Category. SikkaSingh (talk) 08:29, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you have learnt using the cell phone, you can click on sources there at the Saini surname article to see that whether they are supported by source or not. Heavy deployment of sources has been done there. Keep your beliefs secure for any personal blog. Wikipedia is not made for that. Admantine123 (talk) 12:01, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Stop with the Speeches. You know I am Right. You have no Authority of What I am. I told you I can provide sources .What the Matter with you why are you so obsessed with Saini's? The Previously Detailed Information was all Correct.Where did you Get your Sources .I don't see any Reliable Sources in your Edits. Stop with the Hateful Speech. Undo the Damage you have done.C.FredSikkaSingh (talk) 12:20, 18 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Admantine123. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Tajinderpal Singh Toor, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Admantine123 (talk) 05:46, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Tajinderpal Singh Toor. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Materialscientist (talk) 07:19, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I am Sorry about that I have linked Credible Sources now please have a look. (Tajinderpal Singh Toor) SikkaSingh (talk) 07:25, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
A site with user-generated input, like AncientFaces, is not reliable. Wikipedia project sites may not be cited directly (though the sources listed on other articles may). —C.Fred (talk) 11:12, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If they are not Reliable you tell me How are the Sources Adamantine123 provided Reliable they don't Prove anything. SikkaSingh (talk) 11:18, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I am Talking about the Saini vs Mali Saini Topic Obviously SikkaSingh (talk) 11:19, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
And I'm talking about your specific usage of an unreliable source at Tajinderpal Singh Toor to make the assertion that he's from a Rajput caste. —C.Fred (talk) 11:30, 19 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
yeah about that many sources say that he is a Jat Rajput. Which means he is a Rajput but they are Called Jats with No Link to them. Toor is Actually a Variation of Tomar but there are not Many Foreign Sources Expanding to that Info that I Know of. So I will get Back to this Article with some Evidence. Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Last warning

[edit]

The next time you attack a fellow editor like you did here and here for merely attempting to explain our sourcing policies to you you will be blocked from editing. Also, since these policies have now been explained, you will be blocked if you persist in adding unreliable sources to articles, or in adding unsourced text. Bishonen | tålk 16:25, 21 October 2023 (UTC).[reply]

SikkaSingh, I see that you are now being combative at Religious views of Adolf Hitler. You clearly have an axe to grind about Sikhs, in particular, but you're going about it in the wrong manner. Instead of edit warring and instructing people that they are wrong/you are right, please try discussing in a collegial manner. - Sitush (talk) 15:12, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I don't understand how is that a Problem.I am a Sikh. I know about Sikhism.It should not be a Problem. SikkaSingh (talk) 15:39, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The manner in which you communicate is a problem: you sound angry and pugnacious, and often rude. We have to build this encyclopaedia together with people from all over the world, so it isn't a great idea as a newcomer to adopt the style which you have been doing. Nor can you rely on being a Sikh & therefore knowing about Sikhism & its related topics - if you don't understand why that should make no difference most of the time then I need to ask you once again to read WP:RS and WP:OR, and to reflect on the fact that pretty much everyone who visits this place is capable of reading. - Sitush (talk) 17:44, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
SikkaSingh your edit about Adolf Hitlers religious views [1] added content which is supplemented by sources that do not mention Hitlers views on Sikhism. (cc Bishonen) 21:10, 23 October 2023 (UTC)JimRenge (talk)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]

You have been blocked indefinitely for persistent tendentious editing and persistent addition of poorly sourced content. Of the three footnotes here, none, as JimRenge points out above, mentions Sikhs or Sikhism; [2] simply does not mention it; [3] is a 404-Page-not-found (plus, it's clearly an opinion piece); and [4] doesn't mention Sikhs or Sikhism (plus, considering the poor quality of the website, it's hard to believe it's a reliable source). They were all accessed 2022-07-26, so not by you for the purpose of sourcing the paragraph about "Hitler on Sikhism"; but if you restore a paragraph that has previously been removed for poor sourcing, you take responsibility for it and its sources. Are you related to Khadur Singh who originally added the paragraph over a year ago, and who was blocked for persistent addition of unsourced content and possible socking on 4 August 2022? Does that ring a bell? Anyway, if you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. Bishonen | tålk 22:03, 23 October 2023 (UTC).[reply]

Accusing someone Falsely also Sound angry and pugnacious, and often rude. You all didn't hear me Complaining. I have no relation to Khadur Singh. Thnks SikkaSingh (talk) 05:41, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
