A tag has been placed on Hakob karaoglanian, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Iain99 23:31, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from articles you have created yourself. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. -- Irixman (t) (m) 23:34, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from articles that you have created yourself. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- Irixman (t) (m) 23:34, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate images uploaded

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Hakob70.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Hakob.jpg. The copy called Image:Hakob.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 23:45, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:M 4a3c1446cab2cf63b79c921c89f73f35.jpg, by Staeckerbot (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:M 4a3c1446cab2cf63b79c921c89f73f35.jpg is a duplicate of an already existing article, category or image.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Image:M 4a3c1446cab2cf63b79c921c89f73f35.jpg, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 23:55, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome! (again!)

[edit]

I wanted to repost this from Talk: Hakob karaoglanian.

Honestly, nothing stinks more than working hard on an article only to have it deleted because it doesn't meet those requirements. Is it an autobiography? If it is, and you want to become a Wikipedia editor and tell a little about yourself, you can always edit your user page (yours is at User:Sarge1211. There are some tips for editing it at WP:UP, just remember that Wikipedia isn't free web space. If you have any questions, take a look at WP:WELCOME. If you have any other questions you need answered, you can write me a note at my user talk page, User_talk:Irixman. If you don't object, I'm going to remove the hangon template, since it seems the article doesn't qualify for inclusion. Thanks for editing, and once again, feel free to ask me any questions you have about Wikipedia -- I, as well as everyone else, would love to help, and we would love to have you as an editor!

Again, if you need any help or any pointers, feel free to ask me or any other editor, we can all help you out! -- Irixman (t) (m) 23:57, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Sasuntsi Davit Statue, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.armeniapedia.org/index.php?title=Sasuntsi_Davit_Statue. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. License tagging for Image:Sasuntsi davit-alexouns.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Sasuntsi davit-alexouns.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 04:05, 11 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Sasuntsi Davit Statue

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Sasuntsi Davit Statue requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
