But but but but... how did you catch me so quick? I was writing true information. Was it because I used the F bomb my English teacher warned me about in High School? (RuckusJorgee (talk) 17:05, 13 February 2012 (UTC))[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to IP blocking with this edit, you may be blocked from editing. mmovchin Talk 17:13, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome!

Hiya, I just want to clear a few things up. You were spotted from this page. Some people like to "patrol" recent edits to see if there are anything that is considered vandalism or anything that is again the rules. Anyhow, the thing with IP addresses is that there is a local IP, usually assinged to a computer. For example, if your IP is: 111.111.111.111, any and all computers who connect to that modem will get the same IP. However, the local ones are IPs that are signed to connections that are connected to the IP. So, if you and I were at your home and we both connected, we would have the same IP (as above), but there would be a local IP to show the difference between my computer and yours.

As for what happened to you and your friend, most accounts on forums are tracked via IP or somesuch. So, seeing that the account was made under a different IP, it was allowed to be used. Though that is a guess, at best. But from experience, mods (I used to be one for a while), would be able to spot that an old account is just using a different IP and it wouldn't be banned.

As for your language... yes, generally swearing isn't a good idea (unless it's a quote or an article about the word).

Oh, and before I forget, when someone reverts an edit you made, do not revert it yourself right away. Try to find out why you did wrong or why you think they did wrong. Gorlack36 (talk) 17:45, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Forum bans, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

it appears to be more akin to a guide, than an artivle. It is also lacking sources and seems to be mostly composed of self-research

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Gorlack36 (talk) 17:48, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Forum bans has been reverted.
Your edit here to Forum bans was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://oi39.tinypic.com/ofrs42.jpg) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page.
