False edit summaries - Credible & Authentic Sources Have Been Cited

[edit]

If you persist in giving blatantly false edit summaries such as this [1] your editing history on Wikipedia is unlikely to be a long one. AndyTheGrump (talk) 19:58, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It was narrated by various news agencies, biggest ones, around the globe that he was killed, rather than a death by accident. here are few sources:
https://www.hindustantimes.com/world-news/pak-army-commander-killed-baloch-rebels-suspected-101659410237578.html
https://www.indianarrative.com/world-news/baloch-insurgents-claim-responsibility-for-downing-helicopter-that-killed-a-top-pakistani-military-commander-38603.html
https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-pacific/pakistan-insurgents-claim-downing-army-helicopter-killing-six-2022-08-03/
These are three news sources and you can see their credibility, none of them is small lesser known news agency. This gave rise to the public narrative building that, instead of an accident, this might be a murder. This led to a crack down on people over social media who were discussing this issue. Here is the source for this:
https://m.economictimes.com/news/international/world-news/pak-pm-shehbaz-sharif-condemns-social-media-campaigns-against-six-officers-killed-in-chopper-crash/articleshow/93410772.cms

Here is even a largest Pakistani independent blog site where people were discussing the same thing:

None of that even in the slightest justifies your blatantly false edit summary. Or your more recent edit, which again misrepresents what the source cited actually says. I'd strongly advise you to read Wikipedia:Reliable sources and Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and then discuss this on the article talk page before proceeding further. Moving pages

[edit]

Hello, Raheeiejaz907,

You need to have a very good reason to move pages around on Wikipedia and there is no good reason for you to move User pages for another editor. Please do not do this again as it can cause them to be deleted. If you have questions about page moves or editing on Wikipedia, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Welcome to Wikipedia: check out the Teahouse!
