Information icon Hello, I'm AntiDionysius. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Susan M. Gordon have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Hi AntiDionysius, the phrase CIA is used without defining the acronym. For users not familiar with the term or wanting to know more, wouldn't it make sense to define the acronym and link to it before using it? How is this not constructive?

The issue wasn't with that edit; it was your subsequent one, which changed In 2020, Gordon was named a candidate for Director of National Intelligence and Director of the Central Intelligence Agency in the Biden Administration. to In 2020, Gordon was named a candidate for either the Director of National Intelligence and Director of the Central Intelligence Agency with the United States' Presidential Biden Administration.
The issue was mainly that it changed the meaning of the sentence quite a bit without explanation, and made the last part ungrammatical. --AntiDionysius (talk) 04:08, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, that should have been an "or" for either of the roles, because she couldn't have been both and noting that it was for the the Presidential Administration. It is kind of jargon to reference to something as just the Biden Administration without noting that it's actually the Administration of President Biden (specifically United States President Biden). Does this help? Oldcrow602 (talk) 04:11, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
