Hey - sorry we just want a page on Wikipedia for our business. How do we go about doing this? Not interested in promotion just information for people searching for us. NearUspaces (talk) 14:27, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

That is exactly the definition of promotion. Businesses are not entitled to have a Wikipedia article just because they exist. They must meet Wikipedia definition of a notable business to be worthy of inclusion. We aren't interested in what businesses wish to say about themselves; we require evidence that they have already acquired significant coverage from multiple reliable and independent sources. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:44, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I feel like we are notable and have had a lot of coverage. Understood though that you would need it to come from an independent source. So the key issue is here is that we were not independent in our submission - but the company itself could warrant an article under the guidelines attached?
