Teo edits

[edit]

Hi Mhrobb, yes I believe that we have corresponded in the past, and I think also via Dave H. (user:Chunchucmil). It's good to have someone of your expertise looking out for the Teo article- I hope that we'd be able in the not too distant future to give that one the full expanded treatment it deserves. Don't worry, whatever and whenever you can spare some time to lend a hand, that'd be great. If there's anything I, Madman, or others involved with WikiProject Mesoamerica can help out with in regards to wiki-formatting, policy, etc, pls don't hesitate to drop us a line. Also, if you've any general comments or suggestions for sources, themes to focus on, etc, would welcome any comments at the project talk page or on the talk page of the relevant article(s). Anyways, many thanks for your help and contribs thus far- take care, and cheers! --cjllw ʘ TALK 09:04, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Teo mask

[edit]

Hi Mhrobb. Agree with you removing that "Teo" mask img from the Teo article. Uploading that image and placing it in the article seems to have been the only editing the image's provider has done around here. I think it's unlikely they'll be back to tell us where the mask came from, to establish its bona fides. I can't recall seeing any pics resembling it.

And thanks for the comments at Talk:Battle of Tikal; one day it would be good to kick off an article on Teo-Maya relations. Other than The Maya and Teotihuacan: Reinterpreting Early Classic Interaction, are there any other resources that you would recommend, with reasonable and substantial material on the topic? --cjllw ʘ TALK 08:27, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
