Deceptive userboxes

[edit]

Do not place deceptive information on your userpage. You are not an administrator, and must not misleadingly attempt to indicate that you are. I don't much care that you list articles which you have never edited there, although I'm not sure why you would do that, but attempting to falsely indicate that you are an administrator is unacceptable. Do not do it again. You might like to read Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors. Wikipedia is a serious website, not a playground. Thank you. -- Begoon 12:57, 10 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

An example of the "edit links" button.

Hi, please see Wikidata for linking English Wikipedia articles to Hindi Wikipedia articles. The articles are no longer linked using [[hi:xyz]] syntax. Instead, you should click "Edit links" (or "Add links") in the sidebar, and specify the page to be linked. utcursch | talk 23:04, 29 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Mayank srivastava moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Mayank srivastava, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article about yourself, at Draft:Mayank Srivastava. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on VR.RAGHAVA requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. ___CAPTAIN MEDUSAtalk 15:42, 1 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The article Residential shivram singh inter college has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

You need to work on Draft:Shiv Ram Singh Inter College, not keep trying to create a new version under a different name. That's not a good way to start of editing on Wikipedia. Please, work on developing the existing article to one that can be promoted to a full article, not keep trying to get around things. Ravensfire (talk) 22:02, 17 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
