October 2012

[edit]

Hello, I'm Mdann52. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Category:Adhesion GPCRs without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks, Mdann52 (talk) 15:44, 1 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Articles and categories

[edit]

Hi you redirected Category:Adhesion GPCRs to Adhesion-GPCRs on the belief that the category was an incomplete article. Categories aren't articles, they are a hierarchical way of navigating articles which have themes in common. So all the articles in Category:Adhesion GPCRs should be Adhesion-GPCRs, if they aren't then Ok they are miscategorised and that needs sorting out. It maybe that there are more articles need to have [[Category:Adhesion GPCRs]] added to them to include them in the category but the category should not be redirected to the article. Your article submission Adhesion-GPCRs

[edit]

Hello Martstacey. It has been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled Adhesion-GPCRs.

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. --Mdann52talk to me! 13:26, 25 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
