Stripped by Christina Aguilera

[edit]

Hi, i¡m from the spanish wiki. So, i think the article in mention will be a great featured article. The discussion say that need some information about it. If you wanna read the article in the spansih version, you see that is more large and with more references, and, logically, Critical reception. Is so obvious that, pehaps i can't write the article, but i can help. Are you interesting about it?, please tell me in my discussion page on that wikipeda. Is HERE. Thanks a lot --190.222.80.16 (talk) 23:17, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nizar Rayan

[edit]

Hi Markus. I reverted your addition to the article because, while important, it has nothing to do with Rayan. A better home for this information would be at 2008–2009 Israel–Gaza conflict. Best, --brewcrewer (yada, yada) 16:25, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks.--MarkusBJoke (talk) 16:26, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Handball

[edit]

I noticed while doing RC right now that you are adding stubs for national handball teams. I you are not expanding them, please add {{Handball-stub}} to them, and also Category:Team handball and Category:Team handball clubs. I have done all of this to the Saudi and Cuba articles, but I would appreciate it if you did it yourself :P Thanks!--Cerejota (talk) 14:57, 12 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Darwin Brown

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Darwin Brown, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Unnotable

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Speedy deletion of Rebecca Ferguson

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Rebecca Ferguson requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Alphageekpa (talk) 12:54, 16 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Idol series participants

[edit]

I reverted the Category:Idol series participants you added to Kelly Clarkson's article because the article is already placed in the subcategory Category: American Idol participants. Aspects (talk) 21:22, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

December 2008

[edit]

Please don't change the format of dates, as you did to Death of Baby P. Most British people and many people internationally write dates in day-month-year order, e.g., 12 December 1904. Most Americans use month-day-year order, e.g., December 12, 1904. If the article is about an American topic, use month-day-year. If it is a British or European topic, use day-month-year. If neither, leave it as originally written. Many Americans or British people take offence if an article about their country, written in their local version of English, is changed around to a version they don't use. So please do not do that.

If you have any questions about this, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Enjoy your time on the web's fastest growing encyclopædia (or encyclopedia, if you write it that way!). Thank you. The events concerned occured in the UK, and as such, it is appropriate to use the UK date format Mayalld (talk) 21:36, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
