José Cura photo

[edit]

Since we use the day/month/year protocol for opera-related articles (per WikiProject Opera guidelines), would you please indicate whether the photo caption reads 8 March or 3 August? Thanks. Viva-Verdi (talk) 18:26, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Additions to the article

[edit]

With the considerable work which you have done to expand this article and with inclusion of so many references, it would be appreciated if you would "cover" the raw URLs which form them.

To do so, you'd need to lay it out as follows:

< ref > [ (Note: I've added spaces here so you can see the string: notice the square brack after "ref")

then place after the bracket:

http://onefineart.com/en/artists/jose_cura/

then include info on what the article is: author + "article title with quote marks" + publication, it italics or website

then add ] (square bracket)

plus </ref>

To make it easier when there same source serves as the same location for several refs, all you need to do is the set up the first one as:

< ref name=Bravo > then the URL, then end as above

2nd time it is used, you simply put in:

< ref name=Bravo/ >

No long URL is needed and ref appears in the Notes (footnotes) section as a, b,c, etc

Since #5 is the first one to appear on the list of Notes, I've done that as an example. Viva-Verdi (talk) 19:28, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank You Viva Verdi, this is really helpful. I will make sure I apply this to the references as soon as I can - it might take me one or two days to get to it, since it's quite a major update - but it definitely will make the reference section look much, much cleaner.

Thanks again, and watch this space for changes!

Hello ManukaFonsworth. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Creditors (British Film)".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Creditors (British Film)}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 06:00, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ben Cura, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Billy Boyd. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
