The Captain

[edit]

(The welcome template was just because I was surprised to notice that you didn't have a talk page yet, and these are potentially helpful links.)

Hi, M at MinuteMedia,

I'm writing the page for The Captain (miniseries), and it's still in progress. I understand that The Player's Tribune has a connection with the miniseries, but I'm confused on the details. Any info you can provide me that I can use to flesh out the page is welcome. Best of luck with it, I'll watch it soon (not up to starting it tonight). – Muboshgu (talk) 03:36, 19 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Muboshgu: I'm so sorry! I just saw this. I promise I wasn't ignoring you. What information are you looking for specifically? I'd be happy to see what I can dig up. I also very much appreciate the welcome message and the links! The cookies look excellent. M at MinuteMedia (talk) 20:12, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Quite alright, there's no rush as Wikipedia has WP:NODEADLINE. I wanted to know if there was anything I was missing for the article. Anything I was missing. I was confused over TPT being a production company, but clarified that. I'm enjoying the series so far, it has reminded me of writing Derek Jeter. :) – Muboshgu (talk) 17:44, 30 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Muboshgu: I'm glad you're enjoying the series! Circling back on your question, I did some checking around and I haven't come across anything else to add to The Captain (miniseries) and The Players' Tribune that you or others haven't already got in there. Sorry I couldn't be of more help! M at MinuteMedia (talk) 21:01, 5 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, friend!

[edit]

I hadn't heard of Minute Media prior to running the plow on the Fansided page. It strikes me as a media entity which should have its own Wikipedia page at some point sooner rather than later. Are there any independently-published sources dealing with company history in a substantial and factual way that you could point me towards? Thanks, —tim /// Carrite (talk) 15:09, 19 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Carrite! I'm so sorry for the delay in replying, I just saw your message! I agree that Minute Media should have its own page and would be happy to help get this set up. Would the following news sources work: Digiday, Adweek?
I know that I cannot create the page myself since I have a conflict of interest, but is there any other way I can help with this process? Please let me know. Thank you! M at MinuteMedia (talk) 16:42, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, those are exactly the sort of links needed.
The Adweek is paywalled, I don't suppose I could con you into copy-pasting it into an email and sending it along to me at MutantPop@aol.com
If there are anything else along those lines, that would be good, too.
Thanks. —tim /// Carrite (talk) 21:14, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Minute Media is up now. If you would like illustrations to accompany the article, drop me a line. Carrite (talk) 23:06, 29 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Carrite thank you so much for your response! I will email you the full copy of the Adweek article today. And thank you for publishing the Minute Media page! I will review the article and let you know if I have any suggestions to help make the article stronger, but since I have a conflict of interest I will not make any changes myself. Thank you! M at MinuteMedia (talk) 16:36, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that is the best way to do it. Let me know if anything is factually wrong. Carrite (talk) 13:06, 2 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
