For some reason, nobody - including myself, of course - has yet seen fit to thank you for linking various articles to the Warburg Institute's marvelous and inimitable image-database. Please consider yourself welcome, and thanked. Haploidavey (talk) 12:55, 2 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I do not know what the proper way of answering is, so I write something here. I am actually working at the Warburg, and we are bit by bit digitising our Photo collection. In the last 18 months we have done most of the 'big' mythological figures, and now we are proceeding to the less-known ones. Up to now only about 10% of the whole database is online, by the way.

Answering here is absolutely fine; sticking to a single page makes discussions easy to track. When I opened the conversation on your talk-page, it was automatically placed on my watchlist (which notifies me of changes on watched pages). Contributors to articles and talk-pages can be traced via the page history facility but I should also say that even on your own talk-page, it's best to sign your talk-page comments - see the last para below. And progressive indenting of comments makes it easier to distinguish one signed comment from another. I don't know whether you've been able to find the introductory links on editing, so here they are; you do seem to be way ahead of them, but the exhaustive list is rather overwhelming, and the links of the simple version offer onward links to more advanced matters of syntax and etiquette:

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome!
