Redirects

[edit]

Per your edit summary on Hyran Kingdom, I have redirected it to Hydrans. The instructions for how are at Wikipedia:Redirect. If you need help in the future, let me know. Thanks! -- JLaTondre 02:50, 24 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks JLaTondre

[edit]

Thank you for doing so, I also have discovered how to do redirects now, much to my delight :) Regarding your user profile I saw when I clicked on your name: Did you make taht in a similar way articles are made? Also, did you read my Hydran article, was just interested to see how good it was. Thanks again.Ktan 10:23, 24 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your welcome. And yes, you create own your user page in the same way as an article. If you click on the "user page" tab at the top of the page, it will take you to an edit window. See WP:USER for more information. As far as the Hydran article goes, I'm not really familiar with the subject so I don't think I can give you a decent review. I'd suggest finding someone who has heavily edited a Star Trek article (using the "history" tab) and asking them. Let me know if you have any other questions. -- JLaTondre 22:50, 24 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've been actually starting to try to clean up and expand the SFU section on Wikipedia. I'll go and adjust your article a bit (grammar and such). A couple points: As the SFU generally pays more attention to goverments than races (as only the former operate starships...), my plan for the main 'race' pages is to use the name of the government for each page, instead of the name of the race. This means that I plan on moving your Hydran page to Hydran Kingdom (and then fix the links... oy ;) ). If you have any objections to this, or other thoughts on the matter, please let me know.
Also, I consider SFB/F&E/PD to be the big brother, and work the main parts of the page from that viewpoint. Where SFC has info that differs it would be mentioned afterwards, or maybe collected in a section on 'Hydrans in SFC' (this would mostly be the 'Ship structure' section...). However, I recongnize that you may feel different, and I do *not* want to just go in and unilaterally rearrange your article willy-nilly, so I'd be happy to discuss how we want to handle those parts of the article. PROD notification

[edit]

I've added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Drone (SFU), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree, discuss the issues raised at Talk:Drone (SFU). If you remove the {{dated prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Hydran Kingdom

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Hydran Kingdom, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Hydran Kingdom. AfD nomination of Hydran Kingdom

[edit]

Hydran Kingdom, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Hydran Kingdom satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hydran Kingdom (2nd nomination) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Hydran Kingdom during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Judgesurreal777 21:34, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
