If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. 99.184.129.216 (talk) 04:29, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Empty lists

[edit]

It has been drawn to my attention that you are creating empty lists for US states, but not adding the species to them.

  • If you do not intend to complete them, let me know and I will delete them
  • If you do intend to complete them, it would be encouraging to see some activity in the fairly near future. Please don't create any new lists until you have completed these.
  • It's probably quicker to start from the main NAm list and take species out rather than start from scratch

Please respond on my talk page or here. If there is no reply in a reasonable time, I'll assume that you are content for the empty lists to go Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:15, 14 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on List of birds of Chatham County, Georgia requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. The article List of birds of Alabama has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

next to nothing is listed

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Your article submission Richard Scarry's Laugh and Play

[edit]

Hello Koolboy2001. It has now been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled Richard Scarry's Laugh and Play.

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note, however, that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Richard Scarry's Laugh and Play}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Northamerica1000(talk) 15:14, 28 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Empty pages

[edit]

I have deleted List of birds of Alabama, and your silly threat template. Please do not create the article again unless you intend to actually bother to do it properly. Creating an empty page and then expecting other editors to fill it in is not how we do things on Wikipedia--Jac16888 Talk 23:50, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You're not in any postion to threaten blocks. Stop creating useless pages--Jac16888 Talk 23:57, 29 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Koolboy2001. You have new messages at RHaworth's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

Can I suggest the birds wiki and/or Alabama wiki on Wikia as a suitable compromise? Jackiespeel (talk) 18:07, 1 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Koolboy I find myself unsure as to whether you are a troll, or simply do not have the necessary maturity to edit Wikipedia. Either way, if you don't grow up and stop messing about you will find your ability to edit goes away--Jac16888 Talk 18:31, 1 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
