RfC notice

This is a neutral notice sent to all non-bot/non-blocked registered users who edited Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Linguistics in the past year that there is a new request for comment at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Linguistics § RfC: Where should so-called voiceless approximants be covered?. DS Alert

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Respect consensus

You have been regressively attempting to establish Dhaka prevalence without gaining any consensus.[1][2] You must give up edit warring over the undue quotations.

Your edit summaries are also misleading. I see a total of 4 mentions of "quotefarming" in 4 different messages, written at Talk:Bakarkhani as opposition to this WP:DE. The message I made at 03:28, 10 October 2021 (UTC) is also clear enough about your nationalizing of Bakarkhani. Your own reverts now removing details about the strong presence of this cuisine elsewhere make it even more apparent.

I have already described the issues enough times and I won't do it all the time.

Even if you think you can dictate after all that, still, WP:CONSENSUS matters most which you don't have.

Try an RfC or any other methods at WP:DR, but don't edit war now. Aman Kumar Goel (Talk) 05:16, 11 October 2021 (UTC)

(talk page stalker)Aman.kumar.goel, if you think there is quotefarming, wouldn't it make more sense to praphrase it than removing entirely? Nomian (talk) 06:30, 11 October 2021 (UTC)
Content was not even removed but only moved from lead to a appropriate section. It may require rewording but I can't bother right now. Aman Kumar Goel (Talk) 07:59, 11 October 2021 (UTC)

Titodutta, thanks, one of my favorites. :) Sorry for the late response, have been a little busy with RL. How is everything? Hope you're doing well. --Zayeem (talk) 02:23, 5 October 2021 (UTC)
