References

[edit]

Hello Kevin! Welcome to Wikipedia. Thanks for your contributions. I'll ask you to be a little bit more careful when you add citations - they end up as footnotes on the articles, generally, so when you place them where you do so matters. In this edit here, you removed a citation needed tag for Claude Robinson's friendship with Warner and add a reference to the theater in general, so the information needing a citation continued unsubstantiated.

Regarding the article you wrote at your user page, you can search wikipedia for Keith L. Craig, and if nothing comes up, you'll be prompted to create it; afterwards, just copy the sourcecode you wrote in your page in the new article page. Good editing! Your submission at Articles for creation: Keith L. Craig (October 7)

[edit]
Your recent article submission has been rejected and cannot be resubmitted. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Bonadea was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: After multiple declines for lack of coverage in reliable, independent, secondary sources, a single primary and non-independent source was added. It's clear that the individual is in fact not notable.

Hello, Kevin kerrison! Having an article draft declined at Articles for Creation can be disappointing. If you are wondering why your article submission was declined, please post a question at the Articles for creation help desk. If you have any other questions about your editing experience, we'd love to help you at the Teahouse, a friendly space on Wikipedia where experienced editors lend a hand to help new editors like yourself! Mach61 asked a question about the draft you created, but I can't see a response from you, so I'll repeat it here: why did you copy the text from the draft into your user page and try to have that user page moved to articlespace? --bonadea contributions talk 10:25, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I did not copy anything; I simply removed the content from my user page and submitted it for publication because I was informed that the article I want to publish is already in the submission process. Is this the correct procedure, or could you please clarify the correct process for me? Kevin kerrison (talk) 17:50, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You copied the content of Draft:Keith L. Craig and pasted it into User:Kevin kerrison. You subsequently removed the text from your user page and submitted the draft. How come? And what is your connection to the other people who have edited that draft?
To answer your question, yes, submitting the existing draft rather than the new copy of it was the right way to go about it. As the draft has now been rejected, there is nothing more to do. --bonadea contributions talk 18:04, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I've copied the content from Draft:Keith L. Craig and removed it from my user space. Now, I have moved the draft to Draft:Keith L. Craig and submitted it for approval from my profile. Could you explain why it was rejected and provide details on the process for getting it approved? Kevin kerrison (talk) 18:17, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
OK, then let me ask the question in a different way: On 5 October, you created this page. Where did you get the text from? --bonadea contributions talk 18:23, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Basically, Keith is a friend of mine, and he wants his article to be live on Wikipedia, but unfortunately, it hasn’t been approved. He told me that he already had a Wikipedia article, but for some reason, it was removed. That's why I'm trying to help him by creating a new article, and I copied the text from his original one. Please guide me through the process. Also, if you can make the article live, that would be great for both me and my friend. Kevin kerrison (talk) 18:57, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for disclosing that. Please let him know that there can't be an article about him, for the reasons explained in the draft decline notices, and at the Articles for Creation help desk – and he should also read this essay which might help him understand that as a matter of fact, nobody has a Wikipedia article.
