New Seasons for TV shows

[edit]

You've edited multiple articles, adding the upcoming season into the overview. It's appreciated that you're on top of this. But, per WP:TVOVERVIEW, an upcoming season should not be added until a season table can be added. Ryan8374 (talk) 00:43, 29 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Oh my God am so sorry, I do apologize for that I didn't know that. Again I am so sorry. Jumalc1097 (talk) 01:18, 29 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It's not a problem. There are several people that will likely get around to doing something with it. If you want, you can check to see if there's enough information available to warrant the creation of a new season as was done at List of Murder in the First episodes. For shows that have just now ended their latest season, there may not be any information available for the next one. If there is, you're welcome to add it. But, a couple items to note....at a minimum, there should be a title and airdate that can be cited, and until that episode airs, the year should not be included in the overview. OK thank you very much for this information. I promise not to make this error again, Jumalc1097 (talk) 01:41, 29 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
These edits at Supergirl (TV series) made the same errors as noted by Ryan8374. Per WP:TVOVERVIEW, a row should not be added to the series overview table until an episode table can be created for a new season, yet you added a table with a row for season 2, which has no episode table. We normally don't create a series overview table for a single season and, as you would have seen at the episode list articles that you've edited, the series overview table goes before the episode lists, not after them. I don't see a need for the unexplained colour change either. --AussieLegend () 13:52, 29 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Edits such as this make it very clear that your apology above was disingenuous. --AussieLegend () 08:58, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Source authors

[edit]

Hello. Appreciate your sourcing things, such as viewerships like this, but you are not the source author (linked article's writer), as per the guidelines at {{Cite web}} or any other cite guideline. I've fixed this twice (here and here). In the future, I will simply undo your self-attributed additions. — Wyliepedia 08:34, 3 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
