Your Guess

You guessed everyone right in the "In Another Life" fic. And Mrs. Vincent, definitely Laura. Bakatulip (talk) 10:08, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

CSI: NY & Spike TV

[edit]

I apologise for not communicating better, and not reading as closely as I should have. The only reason I removed the reference was because in your edit - it sounded to me like Spike would only be allowed to run the show at certain hours - and that was the only reason I edited it. If you replace the edit with the full quote from your reference, I will leave it alone. I am very sorry for the misunderstanding, Joya. I hope that we can get along and be friends, as you seem to be a person who wants the CSI pages to be good as much as I do. Proposed new WikiProject University of Connecticut

[edit]

You are cordially invited to join the newly-proposed WikiProject University of Connecticut, designed to promote collaboration and improvement on UConn-related articles on Wikipedia. Specifically, the following articles are proposed to be within the new WikiProject's scope:

  • The University itself, including the campuses, notable buildings, notable academic programs, and notable professors;
  • The Connecticut Huskies athletic teams, including the men's basketball, women's basketball, and football teams, their coaches, players, facilities, and history;
  • Notable alumni, including both athletes and non-athletes.

Currently no one WikiProject covers all UConn-related content:

WikiProject University of Connecticut, when created, will be a centralized location to coordinate monitoring and improvement of UConn-related articles.

To comment on the proposed creation of the new WikiProject University of Connecticut, click here. To join the proposed WikiProject, click here, as the membership list is transcluded directly on the proposal page. Thank you for your attention, and GO HUSKIES! Grondemar

Note: You received this message as you were a member of Category:Wikipedians by alma mater: University of Connecticut. If this message was unwanted I do apologize and will try to avoid bothering you in the future. Grondemar 01:44, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Survey Invite

[edit]

I'm working on a study of political motivations and how they affect editing. I'd like to ask you to take a survey. The survey should take 5 minutes. Your survey responses will be kept private. Our project is documented at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Research:Wikipedia_%2B_Politics.

Survey Link: http://uchicago.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_80J3UDCpLnKyWTH?Q_DL=3dz0m2ubQw1KSnb_80J3UDCpLnKyWTH_MLRP_ex4nxeJORHCBBc1&Q_CHL=gl

I am asking you to participate in this study because you are a frequent editor of pages on Wikipedia that are of political interest. We would like to learn about your experiences in dealing with editors of different political orientations.

Sincere thanks for your help! Porteclefs (talk) 19:53, 28 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
