What's my fault now I have expressed all the things in other way and also gave reference — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jonardondishant (talkcontribs)

First, you cannot remove the deletion discussion tag on the article while the discussion is taking place. If you want to join that discussion, follow the link to the deletion discussion page, read the guide there, and you can participate there. Second, you keep adding material copied from another source. You cannot do that. I've indicated this in reply to you on the article's talk page and in reply to you on my talk page. It doesn't matter that you attribute the other source, it is still a copyright violation. Please read Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources. In addition, you cannot just change a few words. That is called close-paraphrasing and is also not allowed: Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Singularity42 (talk) 17:26, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

ok sorry I didn't knew about It....you can do now whatever you want to do with that

Listen, please stop copying-pasting content from copyrighted sources. It is theft of someone's intellectual property. It doesn't matter that you add a reference to it. If you stole actual physical property from someone and said "it's okay, here's who I stole it from", it would still be theft. You are creating a lot of work for other editors and administrators to clean up and remove these huge amounts of text you are completely lifting from the copyrighted sources. If you copy-and-paste a copyrighted work again - including changing the wording slightly so it is a close paraphrase - an administrator may have to remove your editing privileges. I can't say it more simply than that. Singularity42 (talk) 17:41, 5 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
First, avoid whole-sale copying and pasting of large amounts of text from copyrighted sources. Remember, this is an encyclopedia, not a secondary source, so you don't always need the level of detail from other sources. Second, draft it from scratch in your own words, and cite what you are relying on for that draft. Please read WP:FIXCLOSEPARA in detail before trying again. Ask another editor familiar with the subject for help if you are still not sure. Singularity42 (talk) 18:02, 5 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Chutia people shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. I noticed that you are involved in several editing disputed (eg, at Ahom kingdom, Sukaphaa) where you and other editors have repeatedly reverted each others edits without resolving the issue on the talkpage or using dispute resolution. This is disruptive. Please follow the bold-revert-discuss process instead. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for edit warring and violating the three-revert rule, as you did at Ahom kingdom. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 15:22, 1 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Battle of Alaboi

[edit]

I have reverted your edits in Battle of Alaboi because you have removed reliable sources and added unreliable sources or very old ones. Please prefer reliable sources which are more recent. Furthermore, you have used un-encyclopedic language. Wikipedia is not a narrative including dialogues as you have done here: "On receiving the king's command Lachit Borphukan simply said: The Rajputs have concentrated their force at Alaboi. It will be difficult for us to escape unscathed if we fling a stone into to revengeful nest of immature hornets. At the same time I cannot but obey the command of his Majesty." is not how encyclopedia are written.

I request you to go back and familiarize yourself with Help:Getting_started. If you are unable to raise the standard of the encyclopedia then you become disruptive, irrespective of your intentions.

Burhagohain

[edit]

I have reverted your edits in Burhagohain since they lack citations. Place citations in the text not in edit summaries. You have been editing Wikipedia for some time now, and you should know the policies properly. Chaipau (talk) 19:19, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed your edits again. Please look at Talk:Burhagohain.
But I am very concerned about your competence in editing an encyclopedia. It has been six months since you first made your first edit here on Wikipedia, and yet you have not learned how to cite reference properly. The latest example is this. You are making a citing a reference here with minimal information. {{cite book |title=Prachya-sasanavali |pages=177}} This displays your disdain for Wikipedia requirements. This too you have provided only after I pointed out (above) that you cannot provide citations in edit summaries. This, and your habit of uploading copyrighted material directly in the text on a number of occasions, even after it has been pointed out to you, is very concerning. This is disruptive. Chaipau (talk) 09:11, 2 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Please read Wikipedia:Citing_sources to learn how to cite sources in Wikipedia. It is similar to the way you cite sources in academic papers, but if you are not familiar with academic writing, this will be a good place for you to start. Chaipau (talk) 09:15, 2 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ahom kingdom - Judicial Administration

[edit]

I have warned you earlier not to include copyright material in Wikipedia article. I have now removed most of the section now because the text was directly copied from S L Barua's "Comprehensive History of Assam" p400, from the the first two paragraphs. The removed text are here. Please do not insert copyrighted material into Wikipedia. I think I have given you enough warning and the next time I notice copyrighted material, I shall report you. Chaipau (talk) 14:16, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Chaipau
I had written in my words and language as much as I can, if I am incapable of doing that thing, you do it by yourself for the sake of more information. Jonardondishant (talk) 14:24, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, if you are incapable of writing your own then you have to look at WP:CIR. You have also not been able to generate original images and have been using scanned or copy pasted maps, like this: File:Fortification_of_Guwahti_in_1670.png. Even if your edits are made in WP:GF, they still create problems and lower the reliability and quality of what Wikipedia is providing. This is left for other editors to clean up.
You should reconsider what and how you'd like to contribute to Wikipedia. If you find contributing text difficult, then you could consider providing very high resolution images, for instance, that are your own work unencumbered with other licensing issues. Just make sure they are not scanned. Chaipau (talk) 15:17, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Chaipau My only aim here is to expand and add detailed content here. I don't find contributing text difficult, I just write same thing written as on the source because it sound's more mature, and with images, you are questioning the reliability of my sources, but what about reliability for the pages like this Sunyatphaa, Suklamphaa, Suhung, Gobar Roja, Sujinphaa, Sudoiphaa, Suklingphaa,Chandrakanta Singha, Jogeswar Singha and Purandar Singha which all uses buranji and Gait's as their primary source. Jonardondishant (talk) 16:04, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It is against Wikipedia policies to even close paraphrase sources, leave alone reproduce source texts verbatim, as you have done many times. You have not written the text in your own words, as you have claimed above contrarily. I have checked the text you have contributed in the section "Judicial administration" and found them to be identical, word for word, with the sentences that S L Barua had written. Word for word.
Look at this wiki-essay for a clear statement on close paraphrasing. The policy is WP:OWNWORDS. If you are unable to write in your own words, you should not contribute text to Wikipedia. However good intentioned your contributions are, they create a mess for others to clean up after. In effect, this becomes disruptive editing. That you have been unable to improve your contributions after months of repeated reminder, tells me that you have not understood the Wikipedia policy, neither in letter and nor in spirit. That you continue to violate Wikipedia policies tell me that competence is lacking. That is why I have asked you to try and contribute by other means.
All the pages you have contributed to, and mention above, are in the mess that you have created. They will all have to be cleaned. The images you have contributed to in Ahom kingdom are very low quality, hazy, and with multiple licensing issues. Chaipau (talk) 18:15, 21 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I clearly understood till the first half, what do you mean by are in the mess that you have created, I have not made any major edits on all of those pages. are very low quality, hazy, and with multiple licensing issues That's the only images that I could get, also the images are of high historical value.
