@Jash121 Please do not add that information again it will be considered - vandalising the Tirumala temple article, you are adding information which the official website is not aware of. Here evidence that there is no information about Thondaiman's building this temple check the official website. http://www.tirumala.org/maintemple_history.htm I hope this solves the dispute. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pavn123 (talkcontribs) 03:03, 7 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I gave details of two Sanskrit words in Madras slang, in the text, which later became 'Madakolam' and 'Kasamalam'. Now this contribution has been deleted. Is there any reason? I remember that Kanchi Mahaperiyaval was explaining these words in one of gatherings of his devotees.K.Ramadurai (talk) 19:17, 6 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Tamils are a huge population in Munnar. But there is no need to add Tamil Words in Munnar. Then you people have to add Malayalam To the "Coimbatore", "ooty" page and Hindi to the Mumbai page. Tamil is not an offical languge in Munnar. So what is the Need? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Joyal867 (talkcontribs) 04:51, 18 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have raised this issue at Wikipedia_talk:Noticeboard_for_India-related_topics#Scripts.2C_redux. There has been a discussion going on there about just this sort of thing recently, and I do not have the expertise to determine whether you are correct or not. The basis for my revert of your edit is one of "gut feeling" and, of course, that is not the best way of dealing with the issue. For that, please accept my apologies. - Sitush (talk) 01:55, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Munnar, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tamil (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi. When you recently edited Tirumala Venkateswara Temple, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Tamil and Grantha (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Wikipedia Help Survey

[edit]

Hi there, my name's Peter Coombe and I'm a Wikimedia Community Fellow working on a project to improve Wikipedia's help system. At the moment I'm trying to learn more about how people use and find the current help pages. If you could help by filling out this brief survey about your experiences, I'd be very grateful. It should take less than 10 minutes, and your responses will not be tied to your username in any way.

Thank you for your time,
