Alright my friend, I'm editing samanids

[edit]

My brother i am tired of waiting and I guess I'm gonna add it, but I don't think you'll see a problem with it considering that the scholarly concensus I'll prove accepts they were tajik, all love ❤️ Tajik Sohrabs (talk) 17:52, 10 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but you waited half a day where I wasnt even active..? Moreover, the Tajiks of today didnt exist back then. Please read User:HistoryofIran/Sources HistoryofIran (talk) 19:22, 10 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
i apologize for not waiting alot, But you can't just delete it as Many scholars have identified it as The first tajik state, Yes it was synonymous to Persian but they are the same identity as tajiks today, you can not just delete the words of these prestigious scholars, the tajik identity was formed when the samanids existed and therefore it should be added as tajik/persian , no hate I am just trying to add extra information ❤️ Tajik Sohrabs (talk) 19:31, 10 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
if you would like, we can discuss this somewhere else since Wikipedia is quite hard since I get no notification, All love my friend, And I can show you all the sources that I have found regarding the tajik origin, is that okay with you? Tajik Sohrabs (talk) 19:35, 10 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The WP:RS in the link contradicts you. Im not going on Telegram/Instagram with a stranger. Take it to the talk page of Samanids and reach WP:CONSENSUS, thanks. HistoryofIran (talk) 19:40, 10 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What? How does it contradict me, I quite literally have the images of the sources and I read what it said? Go to the website link of The iraj bashiri source, and look at the first page "preface", as for Richard folts go to the first page introduction "who are the tajiks?" Tajik Sohrabs (talk) 19:43, 10 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay I respect that, All I wanted to do was discuss it a bit quicker since its a bit hard for me to do it here it lags alot, Hopefully you answer quick 🙏🏻❤️ Tajik Sohrabs (talk) 19:46, 10 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What do you mean by “how does it contradict me” Are you implying they say something else? Im referring to the sources about the word “Tajik” at the bottom of the link. If you have concerns, please take it to the talk page of the article and reach WP:CONSENSUS. HistoryofIran (talk) 00:16, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What do you mean? Richard foltz quite literally stated it was identifiably The " first tajik state ", and the other source from irij bashiri is saying That The tajiks first royal house is the samanids, How does that contradict me my friend, please brother, I really don't understand this and it's a little frustrating since it took me a while to edit stuff. Tajik Sohrabs (talk) 00:39, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also, are these two your accounts? [1][2]
If so then you need to make it clear on the User pages. HistoryofIran (talk) 19:27, 10 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
i only have one account, someone wanted me to help out with a citation and that was it 👍🏻 Tajik Sohrabs (talk) 19:32, 10 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
But you did not merely help out with a citation, you more or less edit warred by adding Sogdian again. Your first comment to me is more or less the same as one of the users, but nicer. Sorry, but there is something youre not telling, and thus I am filing an SPI. HistoryofIran (talk) 19:39, 10 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Because that is what the edit was? I apologize but all I intended to do was to help out his citations and I thought the sources were strong and therefore thought it was true, I won't make the same mistake again, however for the Samanids there are alot of sources that claim they were tajik, that's why I've edited it, what would you say I send you more prestigious sources? Tajik Sohrabs (talk) 19:41, 10 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
alright man, I will just say one more thing and wait a week for your response,
There is an UNESCO publishing that says they were Tajik,
Chuvash university publishing,
some soviet professors,
pskov university
moscow university
university of Montana,
hungarian academy of sciences,
hanyang university
university of California press
kent state university
Oxford university,
And many more, That is why I wanted to discuss somewhere else, because I want to share these sources with you before actually editing something Tajik Sohrabs (talk) 11:44, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please re-read my comment. Per the policies of this website, this is not something that gets discussed on external sites or my talk page. HistoryofIran (talk) 11:58, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Tajiks were not the Tajiks of today per the sources in the link, thats a Soviet era creation. And you cant just call sources you agree with for “leading scholars of Iranian studies”. Foltz and Bashiri are good, but they are certainly not leading scholars in Iranian studies, thats people like Bosworth that has that honor. Moreover, im 99% sure Foltz say stuff about this you have not noticed, I am getting deja vu hearing his name in this context. You also need to properly cite the sources you are talking about (WP:VER, WP:CITE), we cant use obscure random name drops for anything. Please dont continue this discussion on my talk page, I wont reply. HistoryofIran (talk) 12:04, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay I give up you wasted my time trying to remove the opinions of actual scholars and Iraj bashiri is literally one of the leading scholars of Iranian history if you go to his wiki page?, I was gonna add alot more but you ruined it and removed it, I already stated all of the sources for you to read but no you're too scared to discuss it with a stranger for some reason?
All you do is make your own assertion with no evidence, they quite literally Said the ' TAJIK PEOPLE " As in the ethnic group if you actually read the sources
It is the same as the tajik ethnic group today, they were literally FROM " BALKH ", they are not Persians as in the western ones but they are eastern Persians (tajiks) which is accepted by everyone, sadly i cant change it because you will either ban me , and I can not show you it either because you're too scared to discuss it with me somewhere else there I can show you the images of these sources
Bye Tajik Sohrabs (talk) 12:16, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for showing the real you, I knew that random niceness was not real. If you’re interested in actually learning about the word “Tajik”, Iranica goes into lots of details [3]. You could always also read the link I posted, which you consider “my own assertion with no evidence”. You seem to “know” a lot about me, I’ll file an SPI when I’m home tomorrow. HistoryofIran (talk) 12:20, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
i was nice at first but you and you removed all the work I did and didn't even try to talk to me about it and ask me about the other sources I told you about which I was soon about to add, Ofcourse I won't be kind if you remove everything and don't even want to discuss it somewhere there I can show you more information lol what? Ofcourse I know you you edit alot of stuff in wiki and my friend has told me All you do is be biased towards tajiks and remove all work, I won't be doing any more stuff so be happy since I don't want to risk being banned , you can keep on misinforming people with your lies and rejecting scholars, Don't respond to me again since you said you wouldn't? Tajik Sohrabs (talk) 12:45, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for ruining it for you by posting WP:RS and policies you dont like. Here, you can have the last response, go ham with the attacks and aspersions, not like WP:NPA and WP:ASPERSIONS is a thing. HistoryofIran (talk) 13:18, 11 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

MĀDAYĀN Ī HAZĀR DĀDESTĀN

[edit]

I'm in the process of writing the MĀDAYĀN Ī HAZĀR DĀDESTĀN. In your opinion, should I explain individual chapters or avoid listing each chapter individually and simply mention chapter topics in paragraph form? --Kansas Bear (talk) 00:24, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Kansas Bear. I’ll check later today. HistoryofIran (talk) 14:28, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm I’m not actually sure. I guess I would do the latter? HistoryofIran (talk) 21:56, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. Thanks for the input! --Kansas Bear (talk) 22:05, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Historical revisionist vandalizing sasanian Empire in central Kurdish wiki

[edit]

hi, there's a user in sorani Kurdish Wikipedia that keeps adding these references ([1] [2] [3] [4]) as a source of saying sasanian Empire was of "Kurdish origin". However none of these look like reliable sources, can you help me by explaining to me how these don't count as WP:RS so I can stop him/them from further vandalizing the page. Thank you. Jackhanma69 (talk) 21:53, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but I can't help. HistoryofIran (talk) 22:58, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Could you possibly have a look at Draft:Esmaeel Afifeh? fa:اسماعیل_عفیفه would appear indicate an assertion of notability

[edit]

Hi HistoryofIran, and my apologies for bothering you about what might be a trivial matter in the broader context of... well pretty much everything you've wrote about. Could you possibly look at Draft:Esmaeel Afifeh? Peter in Australia aka Shirt58 (talk) 🦘 Shirt58 (talk) 🦘 10:57, 14 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Shirt58:, I gotta admit, this is a bit problematic when I unfortunately can't read the Persian script, I could probably find much more through that. From what I've found, Esmaeel Afifeh is the producer of Jeyran (TV series), has an Imdb page [4] where it shows several tv series he has produced. He appears in some Persian ebooks [5], but I can't discern their quality. His biography is in the Iranian streaming service Namava [6] (which I've added in the Draft) and he is also mentioned in the Mehr News Agency [7]. Sock alert

[edit]

Hi HOI, I came across your recent interaction with Qehraman63. Just wanted to inform you that this account is a WP:DUCK of HEVAL, which you don't appear to have noticed yet. This less-than-a-day-old account may be a good example to study before reporting potential future socks of this LTA. Cheers, Aintabli (talk) 00:53, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Although I did give a thank you notification, it should have been a comment. Thanks for exposing them once again, Aintabli. Heval has bamboozled me a few times now. HistoryofIran (talk) 16:03, 28 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
