I have to admit that your editing pattern is troubling and seem indicative of a Conflict of interest-perhaps financial in the Balti wine article. Your insistence on wanting to turn the article into an advertisement for various companies is not compatible with Wikipedia's guidelines WP:CORP, WP:SPAM and WP:NOT. I have no problem with mention of competitors but in order to comply with Wikipedia guidelines there needs to be Reliable independent 3rd party sources that comment on the nature of the competition to Balti. The company's own website is not an independent 3rd party. On the contrary it is a self reference. There also needs to be more encyclopedic relevance then just Company A is a competitor of Company B. That is just spam advertisement. Rather you need to show "How has the competition affected the history of the company?" (or more interesting-How has it affected the wine world?). Again, there is room for compromise but we must act according to Wikipedia guidelines and if you do have a financial interest in the Balti wine article or in one of its competitor, I respect ask you to review the WP:COI guidelines and refrain from editing the article. Your input on the talk page on how to improve the article will be welcomed. AgneCheese/Wine 19:20, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to solera. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you.

Wikipedia has pretty clear guidelines about this. Please read and comprehend WP:ELNO. Unless you can show that this person's blog is written by a recognized authority, the link does not belong in the article. One publication in a free online magazine doesn't count.

If you want to determine whether the source can be included, the forum for doing that is at WP:RSN, not by revert warring. I'll start a discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Wine also, if you care to participate there. Until then, the WP:BURDEN is on you to show that the source merits inclusion. Please do not restore it until you meet that burden. ~Amatulić (talk) 19:24, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
