ABU Cup TV Song Contest 2017

[edit]

Thank you for creating the article ABU Cup TV Song Contest 2017. However, I have had to redirect the page to its parent article ABU Song Festivals#ABU Cup TV Song Contest, because none of the content provided any citations from reliable sources in order to verify what was written. These are core and strict rules that must be followed when creating an article on Wikipedia. See how to write your first article and also WikiProject Eurovision - formatting guidance for further details. Wes Mouse  18:17, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at User talk:Wesley Mouse, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. I am pissed. redo Cup ABU TV Song Contest 2017. I spend time disappointed and that is you talk to me like that? If deleting your documents hath not rained it was to show you what it was. So redo Cup ABU TV Song Contest 2017 for compliance. if you to the simple pleasures.

  • Sorry but no. The article can not be redone, as it is too soon for the article to be created. Wikipedia has very strict rules that we must follow. And your actions are violating those rules. Firstly the article had no citations to verify the content, and that is a vital rule here. Secondly, never, and I mean NEVER, make threats to other people on Wikipedia. Your actions are horrific and will only lead you to being indefinitely blocked on Wikipedia from further editing. I warn you now, stop your attacking, stop your rudeness, and start to learn the rules of Wikipedia. Wes Mouse  18:51, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Wes Mouse  18:51, 8 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Cc dsfgrth requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.  AxG /  10 years of editing 17:26, 14 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Roses girona lieu.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 14:42, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Eurovision 2016 Family Travel requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

A tag has been placed on Vacances2017 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), such as at File talk:Türkvizyon 2016 map.svg, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or

Unspecified source/license for File:Eurovision Choir 2017 Logo.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Eurovision Choir 2017 Logo.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Ways to improve Eurovision Choir of the Year 2017

[edit]

Hi, I'm Zakhx150. Gregjarlot, thanks for creating Eurovision Choir of the Year 2017!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Hi, I've reviewed your recent page Eurovision Choir of the Year 2017. In order to keep this verifiable, you need to reference external 3rd party sources (see WP:VER). Linking this through to the Eurovision Song Content pages is very important.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

A tag has been placed on File:Eurovision Young Musicians 2018 logo.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a file licensed as "for non-commercial use only", "no derivative use", "for Wikipedia use only", or "used with permission"; and it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:

  • state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
  • add the relevant copyright tag and if necessary, a complete fair use rationale.

Orphaned non-free images

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Eurovision Young Dancers 2017 logo.png and File:Eurovision Choir 2017 Logo.png. The image description pages currently specify that the images are non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under claims of fair use. However, the images are currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the images were previously included in articles, please go to the articles and see why they were removed. You may add them back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.

Don't worry, I replaced them with vector versions. —  Andreyyshore  T  C  20:45, 19 Apr 2018 (UTC)

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Eurovision Choir of the Year 2019.png.

This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.

If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F4 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 20:41, 9 January 2019 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page.
