Copy-and-paste page moves

Hi, Gourami Watcher. It was necessary to revert your copy-paste at Borremose bodies. Our copyright policy doesn't permit copying text from within Wikipedia without providing proper attribution to the original authors in the history and on the talk page. Therefore, a page move cannot be done by simply copying and pasting the contents of a page into a new location, as such a process does not transfer the page's edit history and therefore violates the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC-BY-SA) license. This is a copyright violation. (See Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia). I see that you were simply trying to reverse the titles of the redirect page and the article page. In cases like this, you should request that the redirect page be deleted to make room for a page move. This can be done by tagging the page with the {{db-move}} template per WP:G6 (for uncontroversial maintenance). I've gone ahead and made the page move for you. Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers. CactusWriter (talk) 20:05, 18 May 2011 (UTC)

Hello! I have corrected some minor errors on the list. There is only one body known from Pangerfilze and Bunsoh. The de:Halsschnur von Bunsoh is a textile remain from the Bunsoh bodies clothing. The image Hallonflickan belongs to the Luttra girl and I have removed the additioinal text from Clonycavan man, as both bodies have been found in a distance of 3 months and approx. 30 kilometers. I am wondering why the first letter of the addition Man / Men / Woman etc.. are sometimes written in capital letter and sometimes not. Is there any rule behind it? --Bullenwächter (talk) 19:50, 30 May 2011 (UTC)

Hi Bullenwächter! The Man/Woman/Men additions are sometimes lower-cased because som, etimes when I had created the pages (Other editors must have done the same), I thought since the title on Bog body meant that the addition should have been lowercased as well because I was not the best in literature at that time. I do not believe that ther is a rule. Also, I must have not typed the internal link on your talk page correctly, User:Gourami Watcher/List of bog bodies was the userspace I was working on. I'm trying to have them in alphabetical order with a picture and carbon-14 dates. Could you look over that for me too? Thank you, --GouramiWatcher (Gulp) 21:02, 30 May 2011 (UTC)

Still looking for an adopter?

I would like to adopt you if you are still interested. Looking at your user page, I see that you are interested in animal articles. Very good taste - I love editing and creating species articles including fish species. Joe Chill (talk) 16:03, 10 August 2011 (UTC)

Alright. If there are any questions that you have, don't hesitate to ask. Do you have any questions at the moment? Joe Chill (talk) 16:06, 10 August 2011 (UTC)
I guess not at the moment, since I am preparing for a vacation... But I'm sure I will in the next week at least. --GouramiWatcher (Gulp) 16:08, 10 August 2011 (UTC)
Ok. I will help you as best as I can. Joe Chill (talk) 16:09, 10 August 2011 (UTC)

I think that I can help

Google Images has an Advanced search choice with an option to search free use images. Whenever I use it, it only searched Flickr. I tried typing in "germany museum images mummy" and came up with this. You mightfind more images by typing keywords with the museum name in it. Joe Chill (talk) 20:51, 30 August 2011 (UTC)

A new find form Ireland

Hi Gourami Watscher - It's so amazing, a new find from Ireland:

--Bullenwächter (talk) 11:41, 4 September 2011 (UTC)

That is absolutely fantastic!!! I can't wait to hear more about it!, by the way, I am taking a German class, so hopefully I can understand more German articles... so far I can only say German greetings, but I will know much more in the future. Guten tag!--GouramiWatcher (Gulp) 18:47, 4 September 2011 (UTC)
That's great! I wish you good luck and success and I am looking forwar to start a German communication with you ;-)) Do you know this article Blinkenlights? On the German article Blinkenlights (Jargon) you fill find a graphic file of the "waring sign" for your computer room. --Bullenwächter (talk) 19:34, 4 September 2011 (UTC)
Sounds great! Unfortunately I do not heard of Blinkenlightes. Could you tell me more? :) --GouramiWatcher (Gulp) 19:48, 4 September 2011 (UTC)
There has been this signs in early times of comuter rooms which was giving the name to a project in Berlin, Germany: Project Blinkenlights or here Blog. That is all i know about it - but I was enjoying this signs in pseudo-German language. --Bullenwächter (talk) 08:39, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
Thanks! --GouramiWatcher (Gulp) 14:16, 6 September 2011 (UTC)

Asking

Hi,Gourami Watcher. I wonder how you change your username from Boy of The Waters, Parasect, Platyfishkeeper, and 水の男の子 and to your current username. Are you change your username within this account only? Or you open others account with other name? If you change username within this account, can tell me how to change? And give a link here, Thanks. Palaxzorodice (talk) 09:13, 6 October 2011 (UTC)

You want Wikipedia:Changing username/Simple. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 09:18, 6 October 2011 (UTC)
I see. But your contributions and user page will not change? Just the username change only? Palaxzorodice (talk) 09:28, 6 October 2011 (UTC)
Places where you have already written your name (like the contents of this page) will not change. But places where the username is used as a specific identifier (like the history of this page) will change. The name at the top of your user page and talk page will also change. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 09:37, 6 October 2011 (UTC)
Thanks. Then what happen to your old username? It remains there as an empty page? Palaxzorodice (talk) 11:08, 6 October 2011 (UTC)
Yes, your old username page would be redirected to your new username, I suppose it is done this way so that other users who would know your old username would know that it is you with the new username. Thank you for asking!--GouramiWatcher (Gulp) 13:50, 6 October 2011 (UTC)

I am glad that you can answer me. And I am a bit curious about your signature too (especially your first username's signature), it is very colourful. But this few months I am busy with my work so I think I will ask you after a few months when I am back. Or you can post at my talk about how you make your signature and what is the code too. Palaxzorodice (talk) 13:09, 7 October 2011 (UTC)

Last year my "adopter" told me to go here. The page was very helpful for me to create a custom signature. Since you have a lot of questions on Wikipedia, I'd like to suggest Wikipedia:Adopt-a-user, where you could be mentored by an experienced Wikipedian.

Cheers!
--GouramiWatcher (Gulp) 14:09, 7 October 2011 (UTC)

Ok, I will try to find an adopter to help me. If cant find, you mind to be my adopter? We no need to do like the project's program, just when I ask some question I dont know and you help me. I think you are experienced too. But I am leaving for some months from now. See you next year. Palaxzorodice (talk) 10:48, 8 October 2011 (UTC)
That sounds like a good idea. The best way to find an adopter would be to put {{Adoptme}} on your user page, and after that you will most likely get an offer from an adopter in a few minutes to a few days. If you don't get an offer in around a week I'd be willing to adop you, but I must warn you that I am not the most expirienced editor here. Thanks for your reply! -GouramiWatcher (Gulp) 17:41, 8 October 2011 (UTC)

Help!!

Hallo Gourami Watcher! As you may have seen I like such strange issues. Can you please have a look on the draft of Human fat in my sandbox? I guess my orthography is really bad ;-)) Danke schön! --Bullenwächter (talk) 20:13, 12 October 2011 (UTC)

Grüß Gott! I'm more than happy to! Danke for asking!--GouramiWatcher (Gulp) 17:42, 18 October 2011 (UTC)

Moin Moin Gouriam Watscher! Ihave just transferred Human fat to the articles name space. Vielen Dank für Deine Hilfe. Tschüs --Bullenwächter (talk) 06:49, 20 October 2011 (UTC)

Hi. In your recent article edits, you've added some links to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.

Amazing find of a Wehrwolf-bog body

Watch this:

Wehrwolf bog body found at http://www.worth1000.com/entries/145580/were Have a nice week --Bullenwächter (talk) 19:10, 11 December 2011 (UTC)

It looks like someone photoshoped a picture of the Tollund Man by fusing him with wolf-like features. Bis dann, --GouramiWatcher (Gulp) 21:34, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
On that site are much more funny archaeological anomalies, some are some very high high quality photoshop or GIMPed works, but are also lots of poorely made images. --Bullenwächter (talk) 10:25, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
Yes indeed. They are quite funny! --GouramiWatcher (Gulp) 13:36, 12 December 2011 (UTC)

About

Hi, Gourami Watcher. I am back! By the way I am still counted as a new Wikipedian although I have been stay here 3 months (when I was away). That means next time if I got any question I can ask you. Just to mention these days I have seen many user pages have this template

, what is this for? And why want to put this template? Thanks. Regards, Palaxzorodice (talk) 05:36, 15 December 2011 (UTC)

Thanks. So how did you find all these templates? Are you searching from the template gallery?Palaxzorodice (talk) 01:32, 22 December 2011 (UTC)

Shimbillo mummy

Speedys don't work like that. That template is for the uploader's talk page. The one you inserted earlier is the speedy tag to use, since the tag categorizes the image in Category:Candidates for speedy deletion where deleting admins can actually see it. — Jeraphine Gryphon (talk) 23:32, 31 December 2011 (UTC)

Thank you for that notice. --GouramiWatcher (Gulp) 23:41, 31 December 2011 (UTC)
